    Default History file

    i'm using firefox...and i want to delete my search history...anyone knows how to do that? for example: i search for "apple" using google......although i've delete the file from the history bar (say the next day)....but, if i type "a" in google again, it will list all of my search that has the word "a" in the beginning....i hope u know what i mean....how do i delete it?

    There probably is a better way to do this but this one is what I know of. It could just be bit of a pain though.

    When you write "a" it will show you all the terms begining with the letter that you've ever searched for, simply point mouse cursor at the word/phrase you want to delete, it turns bold, then hit shift+delete. If you hold the delete key, it will delete all the terms quite quickly but you have to do it individually for every letter/symbol you used and I don't know whether it is search specific, meaning that you might have to do it in every form you want to clear individualy ^^;

    You could try the remove privacy files or some such option in the tools menu and make sure you select cookies too. Not sure if it removes the Google search history, though.

    Go to Options screen.

    Then go to the Pivacy section.
    Go to the Saved Forms tab.
    Click the CLEAR button.

    Nice and simple. ^^

    if your using xp go to control panel then select internet options then on the general tab clear history then ok... that's it.....
