Thread: Suzuka v.s Other Love Manga's

I don't know if anyone made it - I checked the section but it's quite long

Ok, Suzuka is completed so now we can compare her overall to other completed love comedy romances.

I, in all my arogannce, nominate two other manga's somewhat similar and complete - Love Hina and Ichigo 100% - and let's say Maison Ikkoku and Fruit Basket for little different love comedies (should also include Cross over since it was created by the same author, but it wasn't fully scanlated).

So, what's your opinion ?

You can choose more than one if your undecided - but not too many, ok ?

I've never read Maison Ikkoku, but I personally hated Fruit Basket because it took such a melancholy and serious tone and never broke it. No level of reality there.

I like both Ichigo and Hina, but neither display the level of realism as Suzuka, though, my rankings would be as follows from greatest to the least:
Love Hina (its a classic, and I'm re-reading it for the 8th time right now)
Suzuka (2 time read, probably never read again)
Ichigo 100% (1 time read)

Looking at how i started to hate all main characters of Suzuka from first few volumes I do not think of this manga too highly.

I have read both Ichigo and Love Hina and liked them while reading them, but there is deffinitely nothing there to reread them for.

Fruits Basket is deffinitely superior over all mentioned above - it is hardly just a comedy. Maybe deserves rereading.

I know nothing about Maison Ikkoku so no comment here.

Definitely voted for Ichigo 100%!!!!First manga that made me depressed for 2 days when it ended.

It's what got me started in those kinds of genre. Next would be Love Hina because it's just classic!!Anybody who are manga readers should read this, it's a must!!

Since it was possible to vote for 2 things i chose Suzuka and Love hina.
It's been quite a while since i read Love hina, but i remember gettin really depressed after having it finished.
And suzuka is just.... a wonderful manga with crappy ending

I know about Ichigo 100% but I like suzuka better than that....
So I just vote for Suzuka....

Forgot about it and never ended reading it, pretty much that was the case

I's not that good compared to nowadays titles.Well since three of them also consist ecchi,I'd choose suzuka and love hina but I just vote suzuka because I fell in love with the anime better than love hina anime but in manga both....

^ I''s is not that good compared to newer titles in your opinion. Read the top 3 romance manga thread, and you'll see that a ton of people think otherwise.
