I don't see how Ichigo 100% is closer to Suzuka. Junpei was surrounded by multiple girls where all, if not most of them, were chasing and keep chasing after him throughout the manga. For Suzuka however, Yamato chases after and only one girl throughout the manga, and that girl is Suzuka. The other girls simply went their own way, gave up, or disappear to never be heard of again. Well, the manga isn't finish yet... so their might be a slight chance for them to return later on.I think Ichigo would have been the closest 2 suzuka rather than I"s. well that's just my opinion.
As for I"s, I haven't read it yet... but from what I read from wikipedia. I"s looks more closer to Suzuka. As for Ichigo 100%, it looks more closely to Love Hina where all (if not all, the majority of them) the girls go after the main character throughout the entire manga).
Well, since i didn't see all the posts i'll post some of the manga and anime that i know, sory if i'm writting any that they already posted.
Green Green, Rec, Girls Bravo, Mahoraba, Narue no Sekai, Onegai teacher, Onegai Twins, Da Capo, Da Capo second season, Happy Lesson(all series, all completed), Canvas 2(canvas 1 is a hentai anime, and it's not good at all, but Canvas 2 is very good), To Heart 1, To Heart 2, Kakysei 2(i think this is the name, don really remember).
Gacha Gacha(not completed), Pastel, Parallel, Rec(not completed), Open Sesame(i think it's one that is similar to suzuka), Girls Bravo, Mahoraba, Narue no Sekai, Pita Ten(read the manga only, the anime suck on my opinion), Platinum Garden(not completed), Ai ga Tomaranai(not completed), Aishiteruze Baby, Ultra Maniac(this one is a little fantasy too, but it's a school life, love romance too), Nagasarete Airantou(not completed), Onegai teacher, Onegai Twins, Full Moon wo Sagashite(i think that's the name, very good one), Yubisaki Milk Tea(i don know if u'll like this one, but the art is very good and it's a school life romance manga, but the main char he likes to cross dress so feel free to see if u like, not completed), Haru yo Koi(this one, well how can i put it, romance and ecchi, completed only raw), Toshiue no Hito( ecchi too, not completed), Karekano(manga only, the anime suck).
I have lot more but don really remember all of than, but all this anime and mangas are romance. If u want one that is not romance and it really is good try to see Kami to sengoku Seitokai, i really like this one, i'll not post others on this kind because most ppl talk about the genre. If i remember more i'll post.
I"s is much more closer to Suzuka than Ichigo.
The main character is after the main girl throughout the whole manga. You have some characters that pressure that relationship, but it's exactly to the same effect as Suzuka.
Bullet Tooth Tony: You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Reporter on Titan Maximum: Sasha is there any connection between your poor album sales and the fact that it sucked?
Yea I guess I was wrong I"s is indeed closer to Suzuka than Ichigo sory guys.....
No harm has been done, and there is no need to apologize. Just wanted to make you see it more clearly.
I have a little list of all animes I've seen / read and most of them were already mentioned here.
There are only a phew animes that I haven't seen in previous posts,so I'll mention them first.
First one is Marmelade Boy, a romance anime about a boy and girl in school. Unlike in Suzuka, they have little problems getting together and they are a couple after a phew episodes. They experience problems too, but as a couple. I like it because most animes are all about the getting together and in the final episode it works out. This one is different. The only drawback might be, at least for me it was when I started watching it, the animation which seems kind of childish or old at first. Though I kept watching and after a while it didn't bother me anymore and in the end, this anime ranks quite high in my list, right below Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Suzuka and Love Hina.
Another one is Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora (looking up at the half-moon), a romance anime about a boy and a girl in hospital. The story is only about a short period of time, during their hospital stay, but quite dramatic.
3d one that I haven't seen mentioned before is Boys Be. This one is ranked quite low on my list. I don't know why but it just doesn't stick to my mind. It isn't that bad but it isn't special either.
Since I have some extra time at the moment, I'll write a bit about the other animes I've seen, though they have been mentioned before.
The first one I like most, then the second, etc...
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Simply the best romance anime out there! The first episodes seemed childish, but after that, the story and the theme changes so drastically! This one really moved me, the only anime that made me really cry when you think about what some characters have to go through. Really emotional, but a master piece imho.
Suzuka: Guess this one doesn't need a summary ^_^ This is one of the first romance animes I've seen and made me addicted to the genre.I really like the animation style, which is why I've been searching for animes like this one, which brought me to this topic
Love Hina Even though it's a harem anime and some unrealistic things happen, this one is just funny. A classic I guess.
Peach Girl: A school romance anime like Suzuka, but without sports. This one made me really mad. Some characters do some really annoying things in there, so I got very pissed watching these series. That's why it's ranked so high in my list. I don't think another series have have made me feel so angry at the characters.
Kare Kano: A school romance anime, without sports again. A perfect mix of emotion, drama and comedy imho. A must-see. The couple in this series gets together quick too.
Ai Yori Aoshi: Quite a nice anime, but too ... what do u call it ... sweet ... imho ... the couple gets together in the first episode and they don't really encounter big problems. A very mealy / kitchy pure romance anime (can't really find the right words ...)
School Rumble: Even though this is supposed to be a romance anime, I see this one more as a comedy anime. It's very funny. Only drawback in this anime is that there isn't really much progress. Even after the second season, I don't feel like much has changed since the first episode, which I really don't like. For comedy purpose, this one is perfect though.
Bokura ga Ita: a nice romance anime, no more, no less. Too short imho and I didn't like the ending.
I"s Pure ova: I first read the manga, which was great and quite similar to Suzuka, without the sports. I didn't really like the anime version.
Ichigo 100%: a nice romance harem anime, though too little progess in the story imho and my favourite character didn't end up with the main male character in the end!
Honey & Clover: nice romance anime about a group of college students living together, slices-of-life genre. I liked the second season more.
That's about it I guess. I know I wrote quite some text, but now you sort of have a bit of a summary about each anime, which might be usefull for other people searching for this kinda genre.

Sorry for the double post, but I did this because previous one is for anime only, this one for manga only.
I'm more of an anime fan. I think that anime is better that manga, if the anime is done right. I prefer to first view the anime and after that, if the anime got me hooked, read the manga because I noticed that, if I first read the manga and then see the anime, the anime isn't that good.
Since I'm more of an anime fan, I didn't read very much manga's, BUT!!
There is only one manga that imho is way better than any other manga out there. This manga is Mars , a very beautiful romance manga. I liked this manga so much because the characters encounter problems which you don't see in other romance manga's. Also they don't do stupid things like Yamato in Suzuka and unlike in other manga's they listen to eachother and talk to eachother when there is a problem. This doesn't happen in other romance manga's, which is the reason why the story continues for so long in for example in those manga's. Even though some situations in Mars might be unrealistically dramatic, I still really liked it.
The other manga I continue to read is, ofcourse, Suzuka, which doesn't need explanation
Another great manga I've read is Angel Sanctuary. Even though the story involves a taboo theme, I think it's very nice and the art is beautiful. One big motivation to continue to read it, was just to see Alexiel or Sara Mudou pictued very nicely.
Other nice manga's were Love Hina, I"s, Marmalade Boy and Ichigo 100% which I explained in above post.
I'm reading Nana at the moment and it seems to have potential.
Oh I got one question. I really liked the art of Angel Sanctuay so does anybody know another manga with the same drawing style? Thx
