I think the promise will be fulfilled in the future with Yamato's new employment with Sasaoka's company.

But it will be left for the next volume :P which does not exist ^^...

well, yamato said that he'd win a sprint competition with suzuka watching and with the baby coming up, of course the baby too would most probably watch hehe XD.

a promise is a promise and seeing such a promise fulfilled by yamato would prove to be great as his character would also prove to have grown in the process - yamato not irresponsible as much as before lol
