Meh. That would completely contradict Suzuka's words. After saying they should stay friends, it wouldn't be reasonable if she to be the one to hug Yamato. (This is of course, assuming that the spoilers are true ^_^).

I'm so sure with Suzuka personality It’s possible that Suzuka is who hug Yamato
Susuka was always pouching Yamato away when he gives up then she panic
Remember the scene in Hiroshima she didn’t want to stay an extra day, Yamato phone Honoka ok let stay smile. and many more can remember all of them

Suzuka is totaly in love with yamato only when she is in panic mode ^-^

Suzuka IS the kind of girl that goes EMO every time she breaks that anti-social shell of hers. And this happens whenever she loses her grip every so often.

Yes I remember the scene
When yamato was dating Honoka she was upset all the time
She said she doesn't hate she wand to be friends
It’s useless when she sense that Yamato is going to far she panic an do some sing to

Still, I didn't like how Yui just disappeared after what happened. I mean, I thought she would still be part of the series, so let's hope she suddenly comes back. But I'm actually glad about his child hood friend. Instead of trying to figure out who he confessed to first, we had the ability to see her there. She's now important to the story, and I wander what she'll do to get Yamato's attention. This manga shouldn't be called Suzuka, it should be called Yamato or something cause even if its called Suzuka, Yamato is still the main character, and whoever he ends up with in the end is going to be the important part.

It might not even be Suzuka...

I got this feeling that mangaka before he started drawing it had an idea that suzuka and yamato will make out together. He probably wanted to end it where anime ended or somewhere near there. However suzuka was like a milk cow for him so he made a move and tried to extend manga. Now he doesnt even get it, if he wants yamato to be with suzuka or other girls. Thats why (probably) we get all of this shit ... author wonder about ending or something like that. For yamato now its just a one (real) kick from suzuka and he will make out with any other girl be it honoka, saki ,yui , saotome its just that mangaka doesnt know what he really wants ...

I dont know if anyone remeber the no1 sprinting guy that also went to training camp with Suzuka in america, I am pretty sure that the story will relate to him later on.

maybe a stupid bet of them that suzuka wont date yamato until he is number 1 or suzuka is actually dating the no 1 track guy now

Let's first clear that Suzuka didn't hug Yamato. Yamato hugged Suzuka at the very last moment of giving up; because he didn't want to repeat the same errors like when he let Suzuka go to the U.S.

If the manga were to end anytime soon it would be a real disappointment because all the settings that the mangaka has built up will going in vane. I mean, there is Yui, Honoka, the girl in the same apartment complex who Yamato helped to confess to the person she liked, Yamato's cousin and Yamato's childhood friend - which the mangaka made those girls fall for Yamato bit by bit. I get the felling that it is just the beginning but it is indeed very annoying going around in circles especially when the releases are weekly.

Well about this chapter, some people say that why can't Yamato get over Suzuka. Suzuka has already gotten over him. It is not true. Suzuka face was blushing all the time and she said that she liked him. It is just that she don't want to repeat the same things over and over. She told Yamato that for him, going out is to go to school together, eating together, date together, etc. Maybe she wants a sexual relationship or something more interesting? (just a premonition)

About "no boyfriend" plot was kinda disappointing because it makes the story "go around circles". Well, it is a more acceptable plot in real-life since Suzuka is no dumb person like Yamato to get a boyfriend while liking someone else; and less to go out with someone she hates so much. If she had a boyfriend, it would make things more dramatic and therefore interesting; but since the new plot is acceptable, let's accept it. (However, it doesn't necessarily mean that she might had gone out with Yamato's track rival while staying in America and not telling him because she doesn't want to hurt him. Just another premonition)

About Yamato's retardation, stupidness or dumbness is true. I mean he does so many stupid things. I don't mean it in a mentally ill or the offensive way but it is just a fact. Well, like someone else said, it can't be helped. Those dumb actions are part of what we call the after effects of love.

To tell the truth i see a lot of you defend Suzuka with her being hooked with his dead crush (they weren't in a love relationship yet). About that i am sure that she got over him already. Besides, even though Yamato and her crush look alike and do track, their personality are totally different. I don't hate Suzuka but i find that not being able to understand what is going on her mind to be annoying. And like some people said. if you someone looking from the sides, you will see that Suzuka is annoying.

About Yui, if she meets back Yamato; she might come back with a boyfriend unlike Suzuka while liking Yamato deep inside. I think that the drama will involve Yamato's childhood friend and the girl in the apartment complex since those are the characters present at the moment. I liked Honoka but not that much anymore. Well, for the people who hate her because she got a boyfriend, she actually waited Yamato for a response first. She wanted him to tell her not to go out with someone else. But you know, Yamato and his stupidity.

Let's wrap it up with a possible dramatic ending. Yamato becomes the #1 in the world record and then he dies in an accident like Suzuka's old crush. Suzuka's lament that she didn't go out and made memories with him. From then on, she encourages her friends to be more straight forward. To make the ending open. Suzuka meets another guy like Yamato and the old crush.
