Thread: Suzuka 119

That mangaka is seriously pissing me off...
The chapters are too short... After reading them I'm not satisfied, I want more, but no... I'm in torment...

I know exactly how the manga's gonna go. He's gonna be captain or not, doesn't really matter. Accomplish some stuff, forget Suzuka, then when he's at the pinnacle of whatever hes doing, Suzuka's gonna come back outta the blue.

I'd rather it have been more Miki then Honoka though.

This chapter showed how Yamato has moved on. Yes no more Suzuka. For the moment at least. He assumed the the beginings of the role of a 'cool' lead character, and still has Honoka is zealously patting him along down the path away from Suzuka. I'm suprised at the lack of two things: Miki and the clichéd sermons that tend to appear at points like this - I'm expecting some of both in the near future. Track Captain, Miki is bound to react. Can't wait to see it.

yea, i hope they publish more of the manga every week. lol

Well, well, ain't you confident (*smirk)? Care to be more specific? 'Exactly'.....right.......
Well then, why don't I think of something? I find that there is a possibility that the Yamato/Suzuka reunion might occur somewhere during a track competition event (perhaps international?). Track and field sports are one of the themes behind this manga after all. I see that Yamato will lead the team brilliantly as captain (its a good chance to get Miki more involved with Yamato ). Of course there will be doubts along the way but Honoka will be there to support him (shes done a better job these last couple of chapters than what I could remember Suzuka has ever done for him) and maybe even Yui (if they could make up). I'm hoping that Honoka's philosophy 'to enjoy something will help it persist' will carry through in the manga. It would obviously favour Yamato to find direction in life by enjoying track and field but not Suzuka who dumped him to improve herself out of peer pressure.

I don't know if this will happen 'exactly' for sure but who knows? Its a plausible possibility

P.s: In the Yamato/Suzuka reunion, Yamato find out that Suzuka hooked up with sprinting arc-rival Arima*! Shock! OMG!!!
* Not true, just joking. But I'd love a good twist like that (fingers crossed for the possibility in the future)

Yeah.. Yamato surely will accept the captain job. Next! Miki's turn to be in the spotlight.
