West Indies v England 1st Test
Commonwealth brawls at its best!!!!!111
Got about an hour and a half before the South Africa vs Australia test gets underway. Playing at Wanderers in Jo'burg. Should be good. Australia's been a bit off colour and have had a few major retirements. On the SA side, there are a couple of injuries and Kallis has been a bit off. Should be a good all round battle.
Edit: Well having parked around for a while, waiting for the damned match to start, I eventually went and checked the times. Seems the test starts tomorrow. Um, so it goes.
Edit2: Rather than double post, I'm just gonna edit this one. Match has started. Aus around 200/5. Ponting was dropped on 40 and went onto get around 85. Also found a cool website - cricinfo.com. It has live updating of the score and you can just leave it minimised and check the score. Good for work situations. The link for this match is http://content-rsa.cricinfo.com/rsav...ch/350472.html.

Thought it's summer down dere. How long did dey play?? Well, it's deh 1st innings, not liek anythin done yet.
It wasn't long - 70 overs or something. Doesn't look good for the rest of the test though. Rain forecast for the next few days. It'll be fine when they get down to Cape Town. It's damned hot here. No chance of rain either. Just hectic winds.
Yea, I'm not really for England vs. West Indies test. Shit is so one-sided. xD
Well, SA made it's first scores. Were they interrupted by the weather? Looks like Australia fags pwned them :/
Btw, saw thad Nel lost his contract for SA cuz of swearing. Wut fags! His replacement is a left-armer, Tsutobe might be interestin
Black day in cricket. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7920260.stm.
At least five members of the Sri Lankan cricket team have been injured in a shooting incident in the Pakistani city of Lahore, a Sri Lankan minister says.
The incident happened when unidentified gunmen fired on a convoy carrying Sri Lankan cricketers.
Pakistani officials said about 12 gunmen were involved and grenades and rocket launchers were recovered from the scene.
At least five policemen have been killed in the attack, police say
This is just wrong.Sri Lanka Sports Minister Gamini Lokuge told the BBC that early reports indicated that the injuries to five players and a coach were minor.
Sri Lankan media reports said two of the players including Thilan Samaraweera, who scored a double century in the ongoing Test match, have been taken to hospital.
I hope they get what dey deserve. The Lahore attack was an insult to dis gentleman sport :/
Fukk so many of them injured
Can't tell but dis is most likely the end for international games in pakistan. Dis state is on the brink of fail already and now dis*

Profiles of injured Sri Lanka party members
Sri Lanka cricket
Jayawardene (centre) and Mendis have been playing in the recent Tests
The second Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was abandoned on Tuesday following the attack on the bus carrying the tourists' team in Lahore.
BBC Sport profiles the Sri Lanka players and the English assistant coach injured in the attack.
Mahela Jayawardene, age 31 (born Colombo)
Led his team to a 5-0 one-day whitewash of England in 2006 before scoring a Sri Lankan Test record 374 against South Africa and captaining the one-day side to the 2007 World Cup final.
His Test debut was in 1997 and he has gone on to hit 25 Test centuries, averaging 53.23. The Test against Pakistan this week was to be the last of his career.
Kumar Sangakkara, 31 (Matale)
After breaking into the side aged 22, this phenomenal wicketkeeper/batsman made his Test debut in 2000.
Now used sparingly behind the stumps, he has gone on to strike 18 Test centuries, averaging 54.99. He is likely to be Sri Lanka's next captain with Jayawardene stepping down.
Thilan Samaraweera, 32 (Colombo)
After making his Test debut in 2001 he has gone on to score nine Test centuries in 49 matches.
In 2009 he scored a double-century in the first Test against Pakistan in Karachi, and on Monday he hit 214 to become only the sixth batsman in Test history and the second Sri Lankan to hit double tons in successive Tests.
Ajantha Mendis, 23 (Moratuwa)
Has emerged as the world's most dangerous spin bowler, helped by his famous finger-snapping 'carrom ball'.
Last summer he became the first Sri Lankan to take eight wickets on his Test debut against India at Colombo, before finishing with 26 wickets to be named Man of the Series.
Tharanga Paranavitana, 26 (Kegalle)
Opening batsman and off-break bowler who made his Test debut against Pakistan in February. His first-class highest score is 236.
Chaminda Vaas, 35 (Mattumagala)
After Muttiah Muralitharan, Vaas is Sri Lanka's finest ever bowler and made his Test debut in 1994.
In 2001-02 his bowling helped Sri Lanka beat the West Indies as he became only the second fast bowler, after Imran Khan, to take 14 wickets in a match in the subcontinent. He waited 97 Tests for his maiden century against Bangladesh and in August 2008, he claimed his 400th one-day international wicket.
Suranga Lakmal, 21 (Matara)
This young right-arm seam bowler has still to make his Test debut, having played his initial first-class match at Colombo last year. Was drafted into the current Sri Lankan 15-man squad.
Paul Farbrace, 41 (Ash-next-Sandwich, Kent, UK)
He is a former Kent and Middlesex wicketkeeper and batsman.
He started coaching with the England's women team, moved on to Kent and in July 2007 was appointed assistant Sri Lanka coach.
I also wondered about it when I heard that the attack took place in Pakistan. I know that there is friction in the region, but generally that's left to the big boys - Pakistan and India. Sri Lanka has enough problems with their own civil war. I can't understand why the Tamil Tigers would do this though. It will anger a lot of people.
Back to good cricket. How was teh end of Australia vs. SA test? I didn't look at the results yet :/
Well, the incidents of Lahore shocked anyone.
Now the test game will be done in England as venue. It came this far.
