    Default Team USA(Beijing): How Kobe ruled China

    We all know how Lebron had layed out his plan to conquer the world and improve his marketability. We all know how suspect that Time Magazine Cover which had Lebron has the #1 athlete to watch for, and KObe the reigning MVP at #29. Yet when they stepped foot onto China, everybody realized who was the real king, and that was Kobe. Lebron kept on repeating again and again how he was the leader of the team, you never heard Kobe said that.

    Yet when the game was on line against Spain, who did the other Superstars turn to? Kobe Bean Bryant. The guy flat out won the gold for Team USA in that 4th quarter. He wasn't shy about it, he demanded the ball and buried the Spaniards. I know if Kobe wasnt on that team, they would have lost the gold. And Lebron "the self proclaimed leader", Knows it too. Everybody knows it.

    This time they cleaned up their act and put away their ego.

    unlike those failures attempt they made in the past.

    Lebron is still at the stage where all he wants is his 15 minutes. His ego makes his decisions for him. But you have to remember Kobe was once the same way; he just matured over the years. I believe Lebron, too, will someday become as great as his overrated ass is considered to be at the moment. Give it a few more years.

    Lebron taking the far inferior Cavs to a game 7 against the Celtics disagrees with you.

    Fucking Economy

    In case you didnt know, Kobe averaged better stats against the Celtics than Le-brick did. Also, The Cavs play better defense then Mike Brown. And one can argue that Phil Jackson's stubbornness not to call timeouts cost the Lakers a game or 2. I know it, you know it and Kobe knows it.

    Not only did Kobe had better stats he also had a better team than, Lebron, but James did him one better with a bunch of stiffs.

    I'll disregard that comment about Jackson not calling timeouts, because force his teams tp working through situations like as always been his style .

    Fucking Economy

    I know Jackson always does that, but you dont do that when your team is the youngest team ever to make it to the finals.

    @UpYours
    You seem to forget that Kobe carried garbage players like Cook, Kwaaame, Smush, McKie, jim jackson, and bunch of rookies to the playoffs for 2 str8 years in a much much tougher western Conference.

    So did the Hawks, one of the best teams in the league last year. Honestly, I think Boston was so cocky they didn't even bother trying cause they knew they would reach the finals.
