Beijing Olympics '08 - Gymnastics

Ok did anyone see the freakin prelims. The Chinese are SICK. Team USA is gonna need to crank it up to 11 to get even bronze. The Japanese are bringing the fucking rain and the Chinese and Russians are just laying the freaking pipe. That was a crazy screwup on the Parallel bars by the leader of the Chinese team though, sitting on the bar... Their vaults are insane though. I gotta admit the Americans kicked some ass on the pommel horse though, Raj put his boot in and so did that russian kid Artemev i think. I cant wait to see what the ladies do.

Wow. Sans Paul AND Morgan Hamm the USA wins Bronze. China mops the fucking floor with the planet with probably the best display of athleticism I've ever seen in my short life. Seeing Chen Yibing on rings is probably the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. I couldn't dream of being that strong. He is the fucking MAN.

^ Yeah, that was pretty awesome, couple of people on the US team got really good landings that they missed in the prelims.

China crushed everyone in sync diving too (men and women), something like a 20 point lead over silver if I recall correctly.

why must we suck so hard at any sport not named hockey ?

I missed the All-Around finals. Did Yang Wei win?

Dunno,but with their freakin´ training methods that´s no wonder man....the poor kids -.-" (saw a article bout this)

yeah he did win, the other places were: 2nd Japan 3rd France.

The girls all-round is tomorrow i think.

Do you know what Azerbaijan, Kirghyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan all have in common, aside from phonetics? They all have Olympics medals. South Africa doesn’t have a single one. What is funny is that our rowing team has made it into the finals. They took bronze at the last games. The SA Olympics committee denied them entry to games because they don't think rowing is important. They’re got a company to pay for their flights there. Man this country cracks me up.
