who's MMA fan here?

im a huge fan of MMA. like UFC, Pride, and Dream.

Japan has been dominant MMA mainstream until recently UFC bought Pride FC and brought the torch to America

my favorite fighter has to be Fedor Emelienko. In fact, im going to Affliction Banned event on July 19th to see him fight against Tim Sylvia

i was wondering anyone else here is MMA fan!

If I only have the chance
It's better then boxing anyway.

I'm a huge MMA fan too. I was always more of a Pride fan than UFC, it was sad to see it die. These days I've started watching UFC instead.

Fedor Emelianenko is also my absolute favourite fighter. His fight vs. Tim Sylvia is going to rock. He hasn't been really tested for a few years now, the last truly competitive fights he's had were vs. Nogueira and Cro-Cop, and they were both a while ago.

we only get EliteXC here

Cung Le vs Frank Shamrock was good.

I think it's a bunch of thugs locked in a cage that have the general idea how to fight.

i agree with u man! he needs to fight some top contender n Tim is good. regardless what ppl say because theydont like him for his style n such. i mean how many times was he UFC champ? so i think this match will test P4P last emperor's skills. i predict submission by Fedor

n fact, im going to Affliction Banned event n im really excited to see Barnett, Fedor, lil nog, Aleksander, and Andre. they have so many heavyweights compare to UFC. it's going to be my 1st MMA event and this is my favorite sport that i follow all the time.

*UFC 86, Forrest vs Rampage. it was close fight but i believe Forrest did win with his leg kicks and triangle attempts. the way he neutrilized Jackson when he was on the feet. Got mounted position on Jackson

205lbs is the most exciting weight division in UFC! i hope to see many more interesting matches like Rampage vs Silva 3.

^ i'm sorry, but i dont think forest should of won that fight. The scoring imo was horribly off.

Round 1 - Rampage
Round 2 - Forest
Round 3 - Draw
Round 4 - Rampage
Round 5 - Draw

If it was scored more like boxing (how it should be), "draw" rounds are given to the champs. I mean if you win a championship by decision, it has to be clearly decisive that you are winning the fight. As for that fight, i can not say he was clearly winning the fight. I mean he fought a great fight, did considerable amount of damage to Rampage, but Forest nearly got knocked out twice. Thanks to his great defense, he was able to save himself. Besides that he was busted up over the eye pretty bad. As for Rampage, he only had 1 time where he was almost beat and that was round 2.
