WC hockey 2008

So, anyone following this? who are you rooting for? I'll root for Finland even though our current setup and game playing's a mess (we did crush the german's though, ha-ha).

But seriously, Canada's gona win.
Russia's goalie is hurt and now I heard that someone from their defense isn't doing well either. I don't feel like it'll be a lucky year for the Swed's neither and I doubt Finland will suprise and win with the current setup (what the hell, even though on last game Norway played defensive and really hard on the 3rd round, we should had gotten more goals, I'm not satisfied with winning 3-2 :/) . Other countries have no chances IMO. :P

Russia might get Nabokov, so...if they do they'd be quite scary.

Canada barely beat USA yesterday, I actually think the Americans have a chance if their goalie improves.

But yea, Canada's the favourite to win

4 goalies, wtf, they should forget that, get beaten and give the chance to win for others. <.<

Canada needs to up their game, I can't belive USA gave them trouble. :d (no offense but IMO their current set up isn't so good.)

Rawr, slovakia lost to Finland 2-3, I can't belive our team is doing so bad.. (again no offense but other countries than Canada, Sweden, Russia and Finland (maybe the USA sometimes) are not worth to mention)

Our first line (i.e. Heatley's line) is doing awesome. It's just that the other lines need to step up.

And I haven't exactly heard anything good about our defence either

but our goalies are playing fairly decently so that's alright.

By the way, you forgot the Czech Republic in your list =3

Well, it's an OK team, they had (still have?) a great goalie (can't remember the name anymore.. he was a must on my team when I played the really old NHL games when I was a kid lol)

Both Slovakia and the Czech Republic have deasent teams. And while they might not be real top contenders, they always are teams that can screw up the top results.

As for the WC, i stopped caring for hockey WC as it's every damn year, and can't watch it as I don't have the channel this year. The hockey olympics are what matters.
