About France: they didn't have much luck and Van Der Sar being a beast didn't help much either. I only feel sorry for ribery, he tried his best and got only poor support from his team.

A smart step would be to give Rumania the win, so Shitaly and france would drop out allready.

Problem with france is their central midfield. It's just doesn't have enough quality. Makelele is well past his best. THink the dutch are teaching the world a lesson on how to play good fast counterattacking football.

Man, that was close. When Torres scored, i was like 'mwahahaha, no one can beat Spain!'. And then, Zlatan's goal sure made me say 'wtf is Casillas doing?'. But then David Villa scored one on the 90th minute(amazing isn't it) and scored 3 points for Spain. That duo, Torres and Villa sure is a golden duo.

For you who thinks that the italians are a shity team ....YOU R WRONG MY FRIEND !!!
just wait until tommorrow ...the history says that italians like it the hard way ...the biggest proof the 1994 world cup , they quaified as the best 3rd when there were 28 team only bt now its 32 so they cancelled the best 3rd thing ...ok nvm ...so as i said they qualified as the best 3rd aaand wat did they do then ?? they reached the final and lost to brazil by penalty shots by a hair .

aaand we could never lose to holland by that much of goals if donadoni did the right choices from the first place, or Rod Van didn't score his abvious fucken wrong goal . the game against romania was supposed to be a win ...luca toni scored at the end of the first half bt it was canclled when it was a 100% true goal ...without forgetting the millions of chances on the goal we missed .

the 2 games were the refrees 70% mistake and donadoni's 30% mistake .

but wait until tommorrow and god will judge between us .

^Yeah, let's just wait. What about the Portugal game against Swiss? I'm sure almost everyone thought that Portugal would win, but unfortunately they lose 2-0 to Swiss. Shocked me too.

They were allready qualified as groupwinner for the next stage. There was no reason to give 100%.

Lets see what germany and austria pull off tonight.

I reckon for spain to get the best out of the team, they need to play Liverpool's formation.

    4231
    Torres
    Silva iniesta Villa
    Alonso/Fabregas Xavi

Iniesta to spray the balls to villa or silva running wild at their fullbacks and both have the quality of scoring goals form their positions. Torres as always will spearhead the attack, and Alonso and Xavi can easy turn from defensive to attacking when the time is needed.
