    Okay fools, I'm going to bite the bullet and start up the first thread of the sports forum.
    As the thread title suggests, this is the NBA thread. We talk about the National Basketball League in here. Nothing else. Bandwagoners will be tolerated on their prior notion that they will be flamed into submission, should they decide to show themselves.
    That said, discuss. NAO.

    This season's Western Conference playoff race is the tightest and most entertaining in history. With only 6 games separating the top nine teams, a two game slide could spell doom. One worthy team will be sent home come playoff time. Everybody is hot, and with revamped rosters on every team, this is an exciting time to be a basketball fan. Unless you follow the Eastern Conference. Fuck them, they're boring.


    Anyways...
    My Lakers are currently half a game out of first place in the West, and should capture the first seed by the end of tonight with a win against Charlotte. Go Lakers! We'll be the team to beat in the playoffs and for years to come. Showtime is back, baby!

    .. how 'bout 'em raptors ? i figure we'll be in champion shape in maybe 5-6 years. hasn't Rockets been doin alright without yao though ?
