celtics just gotta go back to what they did in game 1 and 2. Just completely shut him down and it's an easy win for them. Still the celtic's main issue winning an away game. ><

    As for my picks again...

    Lakers > Jazz

(long sigh) hornets > spurs (sooooo hard picking a team...)

    celtics > cavs.

wow, u guys are seriously underestimating James. i think hes waaaaay overrated, but he is actually one of the better players in the league. and he'll only improve over time.

and yep, boston did a great job defending his overrated ass in game 6.

LAKERS FTW! (btw, in the fourth, they did that on purpose, to give Utah fans hope XD)

Brought a failing franchise to the semi finals isn't enough?

I don't personally like or hate him, but he's gotten the job done. I don't get the hate.

And yet Boston lost and couldn't break 90 points. It seems to me that Boston is way overrated. All that talk about their defense being so great and yet they haven't won a road game. Nice.

well, at least we will have one interesting conference finals in the spurs-lakers. I think its safe to say the celtics are going to get rocked in 5 games. Even if detroit pulls the whole "we'll get serious when it matters" routine, they wont lose at home. And on the other end, spurs pretty much have the advantage in everything w/ one or two exceptions, spurs in 6.

Spurs will not be able to keep up with the Lakers. They're much too old. They had it easier with New Orleans because Morris Peterson and Peja Stojakavich can't create for themselves, and Tyson Chandler is almost as offensively handicapped as Ben Wallace. Plus, the Hornets bench play is pretty atrocious.
The Lakers starting five are all offensive threats capable of creating their own shot, they're long, fast, and athletic. There will be no defensive freebies. Also, the Lakers bench is a huge improvement over the Hornets bench with Walton, Vujacic, Farmar, and Turiaf leading the way. At the very worst, I'd pick the Lakers to win in seven.
