haha, i love the Lakers too! Fisher's 0.4 will b forever immortalized in my head. i can still remember it. i almost bit my hand off during that game XD. i think for them to win it all, Kobe has to get everyone else involved the way he's been doing, but i for one think he has to shoot MORE. theyre just not gonna win without his offense.

im also hoping Houston makes it. a Houston-LA matchup in the finals would be perfect. and though i want T-Mac to get a ring before he retires, Kobe NEEDS this win. or i need Kobe to need this win.

@vphamv: dont worry bout Kidd getting his triple doubles. hes a stat junkie.

and what the heck is up with the East?

EDIT: and anyone who says that the Celtics arent a good team ( i think they might even be the best. not saying this as a fan, since im not), its time u pulled ur head out of ur ass.

No chance that the Rockets will do anything in the playoffs. They're already fading, and will not and cannot possibly last a seven game series without the big man in the middle.

Hopefully they will, even without a Big man. I just wish Mutombo or Scola steps up massively. I just want T-Mac to get past the 1st round of the playoffs, that's it.

So with the Lakers' win over San Antonio today, we officially clinch the 2nd second and are currently on top of the west. Again.
Riding such a wave of momentum in the playoffs (and we're not even healthy), I have a good feeling about this year.

and w/ that, nothing but to expect for a laker sweep. I'm looking forward to the suns-spurs series. I would say the winner of this series will most likely face the lakers in the conference finals. A shaq-kobe matchup is very possible.

Oh, and this might be the year t-mac gets out of the first round.

T-Mac is not going anywhere. He can't win seven games against Utah. He couldn't do it last year with Yao, what makes you think he could do it this year without Yao?

I think t-mac is going in w/ a different mentality. And the rockets have home court advantage. Utah just isnt as good on the road. Plus that stinker they played last night, karma may not be looking down on them favorably. I know thats a weak argument, but win the playoffs are around the corner you got to have an attitude to win, and utah didnt. i understand resting your top players, but utah just gave the game away against the spurs.

On a separate note, poor Seattle, most likely losing their team to Oklahoma City. A screw job if i ever saw one.

Game 1 of Suns vs Spurs was pretty epic. I almost didn't watch it because I thought it would be another boring Spurs game. But then Michael Finley hits a clutch three. And then TIM DUNCAN of all people hits a clutch three. Double overtime. Spurs win. What an exciting game.
