Thread: Chapter reading

I was wondering just a few days ago I read the last chapters of Shaman King again, and noticed the pages were all messed up, does anyone other have the same problem, it's really hard to read!
(I just started to read full metal panic and there was the problem too..)

What exactly do you mean? I don't understand you really.

um..how to explain, well when you start reading one chapter the pages are all in order, like 1,2,3,4,5 and so on...
Lets say in one chapter there is pages 1-10.
when I clicked the first file, I'd have page 8,then page 2 and then page 10, so they didn't go in order, like it used to be..
making any sence?

Taking a stab in the dark here...

Each file is usally numbered in the order the pages in the manga appear. I am assuming it is your computer that is messing up. Try the follow.

If you are running WindowsXP:
Look in the unzipped folder which contains all the images. Right click in a blank space. Go to Arrange Icons By->Name. This should place all your images in order. Now try starting from the begining again, and it should work.

If you are running Windows98:
Same concept, but Win98 is dumb. It usally puts page10 before page 2 if you set it in Arrange Icons By->Name. So you would have to manually move the files in order.

Madi-chan there pretty much every chapter...I started to read from chap 140 and had to end at 155.they were all messed up, and then I read the next day 155-158 and they were messed up too,then I read Mappa-douji and that was too,and I read 3 chaps from Full Metal Panic,and there too.
They weren't messed up before..
SOOO..I think andysislands right, my computer is doing a sick joke on me,and won't let me enjoy reading..

Oh, I see. Wait... it messed up my Mappa-Douji too?!

YUHUU!!!It worked! In my place it read sort by, not arrange by,so I had to use my brain for a sec. anyway everything is okey now,I'm sure Mappa-DOuji is too..
