Thread: does anyone have french raws???

does anyone have the french raws?
i've done 2 years of french and I'm still doing so I could translate some if you would give me the raws. it would be greatly appreciated.
oh, and i could be able to translate spanish too but that would go waay slower (i only know spanish from soap operas from 2 years ago)

I vaguely recall seeing some French RAWs somewhere...I'll take a look, see if I can find anything.

Untill chapter 224, it s on an italian website, but it s in french (i m french anyway ^^), some page are badly scanned

I think i ll just go at a library and read them there, i can t wait xD

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i thought a RAW was something directly from shonen jump, or a graphic novel. Wouldnt that mean that RAWs are Japanese? Or am i wrong.

an raw is an untranslated version of an manga/anime etc, in this case its translated to french but many of us don't speak french so its still a RAW for us,

but yeah you get the picture its not a raw but its a raw

Personally I would call them French Raws for this reason; You need to break apart Offically translated manga and fan translated.

In the real respect of the word raw (in terms of scanlations), the manga must come from Japan and be written in Japanese. But of course, not everybody can read Japanese so sometimes people use create Translations from other translations. Trans-translations if you will. You lose some accuracy with this method, but often easier to get to.

So if there is a lanuage in front of the term Raw, such as French, Spainish, Chinese, Korean, English, then it's normally an official translated version of the manga. This is used to site the source of where the raw language text orginally came from.

My Butsu Zone scanlations are cited to the French Raw for translation, and the Chinese Raw for actual image display.

You can also break Raw down into Magazine and Novel forms. Often Magazines have worse image clarity and refered to as LQ or MQ. Novels (also called Tanks, or Graphic Novels), have a much cleaner image, but released slower (4-5 a year). These are often HQ but the standards for LQ, MQ, and HQ differ from each scanlation group.
