Thread: So how often does the Manga Update?

Now could you be kind enough to explian a little bit about the difference in the Anime and Manga

I always thought the Manga was like the story boards for most the Anime that are made from them. But if this is the lastest Chapter Released then the Anime has gone way futher in the plot development then the manga and appearently way off the original Manga's plot course

I've already read the manga hence why i was asking when the new one will be out.

To the original poster, from what i can tell of manga-rain's release pattern, they'll probably have a release later in november, sometimes it's 1 chapter a month, sometimes it's 4-6, yet they always seem to at least do 1 chapter a month.

And In regards to the Anime and Manga difference I haven't seen all the anime. But I know from what i've seen, that Yoh and them are all trying to stop Hoa who is at the entrance to the shaman kings spirt and last I saw yoh got his soul taken.

So pretty much the Manga and Anime are completely different now and only share the same characters

The Anime has ended. The Manga has ended in Japan.

The anime has finished it run in both Japan and in the USA. If you missed the final episode, too bad. Complain to 4Kids. They so far, refuse to reair the episodes. They also don't have the rights to release SK on the web, so no chance getting it there either (by any legal means).

The manga is finished in Japan as well. Scanlations take as long as they take. Viz seems to release 2 new chapters each month, it never hurts to actually support them! But the once a month sounds about right, but far from a sure thing!

And if you can't wait for some new Shaman King chapters, you could always read some Butsu Zone!

Its kinda like the pre-shaman king manga, correct me if im wrong anyone . I haven't read it at this stage yet, but i will soon.
