It just seems like the Spanish publishers just decided to divide up the chapters into more volumes.

I would imagine that they publish them shorter there...that's the only possible explanation, as the series ended at vol. 32.
I just said that. They probably wanted more volumes for more money. :P

Hah, seems like they eliminated Chocolove in the spanish one.
Sometimes, books are split up into more than one book per volume. Don't ask me why. And, no, the series ended at 32, not 35.
Ok, there is a huge mistakes here.... those aren't the Spainish volumes.
Those are actually the Brazilian Volumes of Shaman King. As all the detailed here on my website.
There are Mexican-based Shaman King Volumes. You can see a side-by-side compare on my site as well.
The Mexican future releases look like this:
- Manga Volume 18 (Oct 21)
- Manga Volume 19 (Nov)
- Manga Volume 20 (Dec)
While the Brazilian Volumes (as stated on my website) are released bi-weekly. The official site is a tad slow updating, so it's hard to tell when new ones came out. Those 2 that DDRshaman38 has posted are the latest 2 that I have found. What is interesting is that Volume 48's cover art is actually art from Jump Superstars.
Hopefully that cleared up a bunch of issues.
gawd this might be a total noob question but im gonna ask it anyway; whats Jump superstars? is it another japanese manga? *runs away*
