Thread: Newest Chapter Discussion

I don't like posting in a different thread for each chapter, so I'm just gonna force you to post in this one =P

Lyserg's detective skills are hawt. A chapter to clear one plant kinda seems short after waiting for a year to beat Kalim <_<

And now we have a flashback...

I'm actually confused as to how Kalim died... Horo got his powerup... then Kalim seems to just vanish...

Overall, I liked the chapter though cause Opacho just ruled.

yeah, i'm kind of disappointed in the whole one hit kill kalim thing. i thought this chapter was kind of funny. but it wasn't only lyserg that planned it, ren also had a hand in it.

Kalim is dead wtf, and it didn't even show what the hell happened, way to much talking for me but it was a so, so chapter.

Too much talking? They're not gonna have a fight scene with a character who doesn't intend to fight in the first place. The whole point of the talking was that Lyserg is trying to buy Opacho time.

So, I just checked the raw for the last volume.

The ending was nice, I guess. I never expected a mano-a-mano between Yoh and HAO, nor did a I expect a heated battle (although, the battle was quite good nonetheless).

I didn't like how Takei retconned older Ren's design. In FnU 5 older Ren looked manly, whereas he looks like a trap in his new design. Another thing I didn't like was how he retconned the fact Yoh and HAO had merged into one. That was quite interesting, and he could have had them separate at any given point assuming he still wanted to keep HAO dead. Oh well, Yoh and Anna are hippies now.

In the end, I think I can say I liked the ending. It was nice to have an actual end.

I know what the talking was for, it could have been scaled down a few pages or had more of them moving on.

I didn't even realize that all the Patch left were ones that were already introduced.

It's just Nichrome, Talim, Silva and Rutherfor. People who don't like to spoil themselves on the raws can pair them to the plants that are left:Cave, Sea, Glacier and Universe.
