Thread: Asano-ha

Ok, my last post about Asano-ha seemed to turn only into a post about Itako No Anna. Now that I know how to put pictures here (many thanks to ApocalypticARK!) I want to see what everyone thinks. Does anyone think she looks too much like Anna?

Well, Anna is capable of smiling. She had a really sweet smile in book 6. I remember it because it was slightly unnerving to see her smiling like that! And maybe Anna was happier back in that life as a mother with Hao. Because Anna's life this time around is kind of tragic. She was abandoned and hated everyone because she could read everyone's mind and so felt their negative thoughts. It was sweet though, because Yoh helped her see that humans can be good.

Also, if Anna was Asano-ha, it would explain why she is powerful and why she can read minds and has some of the same powers as Hao. But, this is all theory. It was never even suggested in Shaman King. But it IS mysterious that we know practically NOTHING about her and everyone always asks her, "Who are you, really?"

Uh...that smile wasn't exactly sweet....it was more like...just simply used to convince Tamao of using the kokur-something board. It just didn't exactly feel as if she was actually "smiling." Er, what I mean to say, is that it just looks fake. Also, she wouldn't be caught dead smiling to anyone other than Yoh, and she's never even done that yet. Again, her past made her almost completely uncapable of smiling to anyone. It made her way too reserved.

About Anna and Asanoha, Asanoha certainly did not have the power to read minds, cause that power was never passed down to Hao, as he rather gained it instead of inherited it. Also, if Asanoha did indeed have that power, Hao would probably have never sworned to kill all humans, as his mother would have most likely taught him a few lessons about reasons not to do something like that. I Also think that Anna never inherited anything but gained her powers like Hao did, because if the power could be inherited, there'd certainly be more than one Asakura persons with the power to reincarnate and venging to kill humans, or just simply despise all humans. I also think that Hao certainly doesn't think Anna and his mother are related because if Anna did remind him of his mother, he'd view Anna differently, rather than finding her "interesting." People just do not feel that way towards a person who resembles their mother, unless they had major problems.... Well, sure Dante from Devil May Cry grew attached towards a person who looked exactly like his mother, but he didn't find her "interesting" as Hao did.

And ya, in summary, what I'm actually trying to say is that I really don't like the theory about Anna being related to Asanoha. There's just too little clues, and appearances don't mean much to me. And they don't even show Asanoha's face. And I don't even know what good that would do.

Woooow. But anyways... it was just a thought. And I wasn't the first person to come up with the theory.

Ya, I was surprised myself, recently my posts have been tending to be a bit long. And I wasn't trying to say that YOU were wrong, but I just dissaprove of the theory.

I still think it's an interesting idea. It would make everything much more complicated.

Stop pulling old topics out from their graves already and say something more meaningful. -_- Well, the one above is meaningful, but the ones you put in the other topics weren't.
