Thread: Butsu Zone Scanlations (and Takei One-shots!)

If I had to take a guess I would guess he was saying "Gum Gum no Butsu" or something. Pointing out one of the many similarities between Butsu Zone and One Piece. Since both Takei and the creator of One Piece both worked together prior to their "release series." They probably swapped some ideas back and forth, and used some of their ideas.

Like Luffy's Gum Gum punch attack is very similar to Sennju's 1000 Hamd punch.

Like Luffy can't swim, and Sennju can't sink, but Koma and Jizo can only sink.

At least that's what I think.

lol, no, buh means idiot, Luffy uses the move to magically become drunk, nice little analysis though.

A few delays which pushed back this release. Working on the fan book, was a big part. Then there was the surprise of that I was missing 2 pages in the Chinese RAWs. So it took some time to get those scanned in and edited.

Butsu10 "Those Who Conquer Their Passions"

Lots of notes in this chapter. I think I got like 4 or something. Just those extra details.

In this chapter, a new character enters the story to mix up the story!

So far in this chapter, I have all the pages cleaned and have English text. Now I need to format, might add an extra picture, then zip and upload for download!

Depending on how much stuff I have to do tomorrow will depend if it get's released. It appears like I do have alot of other stuff to do, but the things I need to do on Butsu Zone are very limited. We shall see.

Chapter 10 is now out! Complete with a color page in extra-LQ. As far as I know, Butsu Zone only had 2 color pages from it's whole run in Weekly Jump; this chapter, and the first chapter. So enjoy that.

I have been going about a weekly releases, but that's going to have to take a break for a bit. My birthday is on this Friday, so I am getting a few videogames to play over the weekend. Plus what ever other work I got to get done. So I don't see much of a chance of another Butsu Zone chapter by the end of October.

Only 2 more Butsu Zone chapters to go until the completion of Volume 2! Once I hit the end I can't move on unless I get some english translations! Butsu Zone is released in French, so if I can get a hold of the French translations, I am sure I can find somebody to convert that to English for me.

About the double posting thing, I think ST should allow us to use bumps. :P

Chapter 11 is now out. Next chapter is 12, "Anna." And yes, Anna will be in the chapter. She appears more in Volume 3, but sadly I don't have translations for volume 3. If anybody can get me some translations (from Japanese, Chinese, or French), that would be great. I do have the Japanese and Chinese RAWs, and I am loooking for the French scans.
