Thread: Background of X-Laws

I know in the anime they show the background of Lyserg, but they never show anything about what exactly happened to Marco, Jeanne, etc that made them hate Hao so much, just that he did something to each of them. And I was wondering whether anyone who has read farther into the manga of Shaman King (ie. farther than is currently hosted on this site, no offense to Stop Tazmo intended) knows whether they explain this in the manga, I dont want to know what if anything is explained just whether or not their backgrounds and those of the other X-Laws will ever be given.

Marco hates Hao for taking everything away from him. He was once a very successful car salesmen(?) I know that he had something to do with cars. Anyway, he lost his business, his family, and practically everything but his life. It can only be assumed that every other X-LAWs was the same, but can't really get info on them since they died. Jeanne was never really effected by Hao, and unlike the Anime showed, her spirit was never eaten. She was raised by Marco as an Anti-Hao. Note, one or two things may be wrong, but this is the best I could get with the script without pictures

He probably realized that the X-LAWS were nothing but a bunch of hypocritical, misguided, religious cultist fanatics (they're still cool though).

I actually wonder the exact circumstances behind his leaving of the X-LAWS, and I'm sure it's explained somewhere in the manga.

That one guy, Venstar, he got attacked by Hao during the Gulf War, around the same time that Hao picked up Mohammed (Turbine). I guess that's why he joined the X-LAWS.

Hmm... does it ever really give the reason WHY Luchist joined Hao and left the X-LAWS? And... um... what's the deal with him and Marco?

You should ask that question to people who can read japanese or chinese. They'll most likely have the answer you're looking for, Maddie.

Do you know anyone? The only people I know that can read Chinese/Japanese don't know enough. -_-
