takei's new series "Juki Ningen Jon Bor"

I figure the shaman king section is a good enough place to ask if anyone heard that Takei is coming back to jump.

Here is his new series' main character, i guess

A very short summary: The adventures of a boy named Nakaga Washiro, who can 'paint' destruction and creation

Also, it will apparently be a steam punk manga
Steam Punk (from wikipedia):
Steampunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction which came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works set in (or strongly inspired by—see fantasy-world steampunk below) an era when steam power was still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often set in Victorian England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H. G. Wells, or real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. It is often associated with cyberpunk and shares a similar fanbase but developed as a separate movement (though with considerable influence on each other). Their main difference beyond the chronological differences in settings is that Steampunk settings tend to be less obviously dystopian.

I am looking forward to it. Hopefully it will have a complete story unlike Shaman King but jump fans are VERY fickle, so who knows

Just to let you all know now, yes, Mankin-Trad is planning on scanlating this manga. Plus I will be updating The Great Spirit with all the information about the series as it comes out.

YOSH! New Takei-dono action. I cant wait, and to know that we have a divine class scanlator (gotta love those gandara) like andyislands-dono on the job. Let the greatness begin.

andyislands, i would like to ask if you wanted a (small) helping hand with the manga. I would be up for cleaning some pages (around 5 would be a good amount per week) and i can always proofread and quality check (seeing as english is my native language and i have been an editor for months now (nearly a year) so i have the experience to help out). I have to admit, Takei has grown on me after reading what i have read of Shaman King so i would like to be involved in some way, all be it in a small role.
