Thread: Work for Shaman King!

Kinda a spin-off topic of my Mankin-Trad topic, but I feel that it should have it's own topic so it doesn't get overlooked as easily. That, and if you are a Shaman King fan, you'd look in this part of the forum more than anything. But, if you can't help, you can at least check out the Mankin Profile link below.

First of all, The Great Spirit and Mankin-Trad are looking to hire some new staff to keep site content new and fresh! So below is some of the new job openings that we are looking for. Updated on Jan 26th 2007.

Mankin-Trad Staff:
Manga Translations:
Translator Japanese-> English
Translator Chinese-> English (maybe, depending on knowledge, and what type it's written in)

A Japanese or Chinese translator (preferably Japanese, since it's the best way to get the orginal point across) is needed for some of our oldest and newest series. These could include (depending on what needs work on and who's busy and such); Jyuki Ningen Jumbor, Butsu Zone, Smash Bomber, or one of my special pet projects. You need to have a good deal of knowledge of the language you are working with. Not a ton of English skills are needed, just enough to get the point across, an editor can clean up grammer and such.


Mankin Profile Staff:
Info Translators:
Translator Japanese-> English
Translator Chinese-> English
Translator Itailian-> English

These translators will need to translate information directly from the Character Book (Manjien) and the Fanbook.

Summery Translators:
Translator French-> English

As the Mankin Profile website is all in french, the job of this translator will be to translate French character summeries into English summeries. It's pretty simple.

You may be wondering what "Mankin Profile" is. Basically, it's your only source for every Shaman King character. Birthdays, favorite foods, attacks, family tree, .etc. Also, it plans to be completely searchable at some point too. Hi, I'm a native Chinese speaker but have lived in New Zealand for years, so my English is pretty good too. If you're still looking for Chinese -> English translators for Shaman King please consider me! I've never worked in a scanlation group before but I've had a bit of experience doing scans alone. I already have the Chinese raws for the chapters you guys haven't scanlated yet, as I started doing my own scans for a little while after Manga Rain stopped.
