Imadori is an idiot - we got ourselves a conclusion of their relationship but it still won't fix that terrible ending SR had...
..nevermind, no point in opening the old wounds. Imadori reminds me of Ataru Moroboshi from Urusei Yatsura - the looking around for other cute girls while being on a date with already really cute girl who is just a bit too violent.

I didn't read until now. Well it was quite like Imadori to do it in a humorous way. I LOL'ed at the ring. xD
but this could also be a way to show that Imadori really is serious about Ichijou. He's so serious that he's actually scared/shy about it. To the point that he has to go and do it on a very round-about way.
I could happily say that this is a tale that he can proudly share to his future generations ^^
