Akira's gonna start chasing after Hanai now? NOW?!? when Flute is almost complete?
I thought she just wanted to let Hanai know and thats that =_=

but what the hell was that last page about? I know Tenma wouldn't be showing up for a while but... @_@

Maybe Tenma Reminds Akira about her Older sister... or is it younger sister??? or maybe Tenma Motivated her to pusue her romance/ her love interest when she saw how far Tenma would go for Karasuma... who knows...

Interesting chapter... we need to know more about Akira...

I guess the pics of Tenma is just an example of the friends she has gained and how grateful she is.

I found these last two chapters to be very uneventful. They seemed more like b chapters than # chapters. Now, yea, it would have been nice to know more about Akira, but why bring it up now when the series is coming to an end. If the mangaka really wanted to focus on Akira more, he should have done it earlier. These last two chapters seemed awfully rushed in a sense. I'm really hoping the mangaka focuses on one of the issues that he has been building up until now (Mikoto's love choice, Harima's love choice, that is, if he decides to choose someone). Now, if this chapter was intended to perhaps build up to a dramatic decision by Hanai, then I could see the significance in this chapter. However, I still find this to be awfully rushed. It wasn't too long ago that it was first hinted that Akira likes Hanai, so to make her character have an impact in one of the couplings seems very rushed. Well, so far, the closing chapters have been somewhat disappointing, but hopefully he'll resolve any questions by the time the series ends.

I also thought Akira's (younger) half-sister was very Tenma-like. I'm not sure on this one, but the talk of bullying and her sister's lack of appearances makes me think something happened to her.

Also, I thought Akira was very Yakumo-like in middle school.

I'm not sure why everyone feels that the last page implied an intent to pursue Hanai. I took it to show Akira's love for her friends, and how she regards Tenma as her sister, which ties back into loving your friends and family.

QFT, it should be noted that Akira and Tenma have on more occasion been mentioned as very good friends... at least in the anime
