.....its even sadder. I did not expect it to become this way, although I admit that I ...mmm.... how do i put it... like this kind of development. It opens a great possibility for for Tenma to grow up and mature, and especially considering what kind of character she was up till now. Yet...

Tragedy brings deepness, don't you think? Thats probably one of reason why i appreciate this kind of plot development.

And probably yes, it will have a happy ending. Not for Karasuma, though, unless KJ decides to magically cure him.

This is really, really awesome. I can't believe SR is getting so serious--it really is nearing the end, and rightly so. I love the characters and humor, but it was going round and round in circles with no end in sight.

This definitely feels like the series is drawing to a close... I mean, basically Tenma's whole long spiel at the end was a summary of the entire manga... quite well done, too. Beautiful chapter, and it finally offers a conclusive explanation for several mysteries behind Karasuma's behaviour. But what happens now? Will Tenma give up and go back, now that she (probably) realises that Harima loves her? Or will she continue to be endlessly optimistic, hoping for a chance of recovery?

I guess the question being posed now is: Is it better to be with someone you love, or someone who loves you?

This like Karasuma really died in the last chapter dreaming with Tenma and now her body become no more than an empty shell, its sad, but I really like this developement.
now the question is, what will Tenma do?

I really don't see how Tenma can't stay now. At first I thought that Karasuma was going to die, which would leave an opening for her to return to Japan and everything like that. Now that we know that Karasuma's sickness isn't necessarily deadly (although being an empty shell isn't much better), I see no reason why Tenma should come back. That is if she really does love Karasuma (I don't think anyone's arguing this). Plus, the way she left made it seem like she wasn't coming back. The only possibility I can see her choosing not to stay by Karasuma's side is if Karasuma somehow got one of his parents to relay a message to Tenma telling her to go back to Japan and find happiness, and Tenma obliging to fulfill his last wish to her. Of course that would mean that Karasuma anticipated Tenma to follow him, and I don't find that to be too impossible.

Either way, I hope there isn't going to be a cheesy "OMG, it's a miracle!" type of thing associated with Karasuma's sickness. I know that the recent turn of events have been sad and very un-school rumble like, but it still gives the story depth. Magically curing his illness, although not unlike School Rumble, would just kill the story for me. Not everything in life is happy, and although it may not seem so, it is possible for Tenma to find happiness with Karasuma's current state. Happiness comes in different forms. Can't wait to see what happens next.

P.S.: Although this chapter wasn't funny, I did find it amusing when Tenma did her little somersault towards Karasuma only for Karasuma to move out of the way. I think it was a nice little scene that showed how Tenma's love towards Karasuma always seemed to miss.

This wasn't Karasuma, that's his empty shell clone, the rea lKarasuma is on a Spaceship in Earth orbit perparing his attack on Earth for World Domination :P ... lol

So what happened to Karasuma exactly? he didn't become a vegetable right? because he was playing with the Rubics Cube... if he only lost his memories, I Can't see why Tenma wouldn't want to make new memories with him, if she really loved him that much...

Well that sucked and I don't mean as in it was bad just...damn you know. But let's just be patient, i doubt Kobayashi would have had us laughing and warming our hearts for over 300 chapters (i'm counting the b-chapters, if that's wrong my bad) just to bum us out at the ending. I can barely see the screen through my tears (okay I'm exagerating) but I'm still holding onto a glimmer of hope for a happy ending for everyone. One last thing how many plot threads does Kobayashi still have to wrap up before he ends this whole thing? and would you say Yakumo's character Arc over the whole series is pretty much done or is there still something there that's unresolved?
