me english suxx0rs, so no compleintz plx
^i gotta agree with that. i believe theres absolutely no reason behind love. its just u do or u dont. =D
yeah, at least in my case, I loved my GF from the first time we met.
And to think about it, how comes Eri loved Harima in the first place ? its not that she saw anything good about him ( I mean, he is not the only good man around). She herself also feels ridiculous to have a crush on him, but it cant be helped, right ?
is there any other love-comedy manga that can replace school rumble if it is going to end????
well adittionnal fact is : a boy "in love" has some charm bonus.
^ i also thought that the second term had just ended. =/
id have to say it WAS the umbrella incident that sparked Eri's attention. she sees harima as different and is attracted to him for the same reason Yakumo is: his unyielding heart. and also the fact that Harima doesnt see her as a girl(does this make sense O_O)
The umbrella incident didn't really do anything on its own. It was the confession afterwards, and the strength of Harima's feelings, that started to change the way that she viewed him. She's not impressed with the fact that he's "unyielding/unchanging" as she is with the fact that he's passionate about whatever he does. That was the quality that got to her in their sleepover at the temple, too.
Yakumo's mention of Harima's "unyielding heart" in 206 had more to do with Yakumo's desire to maintain the status quo. Harima's interactions with Eri were slowly starting to change him, and Yakumo was afraid of that change. She was trying to comfort herself by believing that Harima would always stay as he was, which is what lead to that confrontation down the line. A similar thing happened around 257, where Harima mentioned the fact that they may not be able to work together afterwards. I'm not sure if there's anything in particular that Yakumo likes about Harima (it probably has a lot to do with their common interests and hobbies), but it's clear that her desire to keep him from changing has more to do with her need to preserve their current relationship.
It's hard to explain but you know what we mean now right? Like he doesn't see her as any other normal girl that's around the school.
