Considerably, Harima might think he has no reason to go back to school anymore and go for a trip himself - of course getting his friends all worried and trying to get him back.

I guess if that happened 100 chapters before, Harima would simply revert to his "Deliquent" mode again and act as complete as*hole

^yeah. I'm starting to be curious on what kind of life Itoko had when she was still in her teens. Maybe she's like a female Harima who changed after finding love... Asakura-sensei?

LOL! I think you meant Love hina? Harima never had everyone worried. He came back on his own accord. He always falls when he gets depressed but he always finds a reason to get back on his feet. He still have his manga (his dream) to accomplish anyway

I doubt it but I bet either Yakumo/Eri would be more than enough to tame him.

ask me this a few months ago when we were hitting the break between semesters...the one that's just now ending with Eri and Tenma and all them now 3rd years...and I would have said yes, but in all honesty, now I think we're closer to more of a halfway point now than an ending. It took Kobayashi 268 chapters for Tenma to become aware of Harima's feelings. Who's to say it won't take another 268 for Harima to realize the feelings Eri and Yakumo have for him? I don't know but, I imagined a Love Hina scene on manga volume 7, Narusegawa give your " last misunderstandings kiss" to Keitaro because she "thinked" Keitaro date with Mutsumi. Whould be happen with Harima and Eri, Eri give your "first farewell misunderstanding kiss" to Harima.

Eri = Narusegawa
Yakumo = Mutsumi
Harima = Keitaro

The difference is that Harima is much much cooler than Keitaro and Eri has much more interesting attacks than Naru-punch ("Shining Wizard", we all know a little about it). And Yakumo is not like Mutsumi as Yakumo is really making moves on Harima.

Mutsumi = airhead carefree big sis-type of girl
Yakumo = shy quiet overly-kind girl

But I agree with Eri = Naru. They're both lethal in more ways than one XD

Hmm I think its better to say Shinobu=Yakumo but Yakumo is way too develop to be considered a loli-character. ^^

Eri=Asuka, she is very proud of herself, altive, violent, selfish sometimes and suffers the common manga sytom "How the hell can I be in love with such a boy".

Yakumo=Rei, extremly shy and very needed of some kind of care.

Well, obviusly harima isn't shinji but well paint eri's hair of red, an you have asuka

yakumo =/= rei

first of all rei has 'almost' no care in the world..... 'almost' emotionless......

and Yakumo on the other hand is not emotionless..... nor bitter and unhappy....

though she always takes the middle for her sister and Harima..... she's happy that she was able to help them, especially her sister, Tenma...... though you're right in the very shy department and needs more attention part..... but let me be clear that Yakumo =/= Rei..... but i don't think rei is shy.... she just doesn't want unnecesarry talking am i right.... correct me if i'm wrong with what 'all' i just said.......

I think you're missing the whole point of an archetype. It's to categorize similar characters, not indentical ones. Yakumo is categorized as a Reiclone because for about 200 chapters of the manga she didn't really show any emotion besides maybe the occasional shock or emberassment. Same way Rei II, the Rei we see through most of the Eva series doesn't show much emotion either. It's a generality, not a pinpoint accurate character description. Same way Eri can be categorized as Tsundere, just like Asuka, Rin, Kagami and a bunch of other characters. It's a just a generality.
