Thread: Page arrangement

I was wondering what the page arrangement is in the original school rumble (the japanese print edition). Almost every page has some kind of author's note written in the margin on the side... on which side do those notes appear when looking at 2 consecutive pages, do the notes appear on the inside or the outside?

i.e.

Considering I never had SR book in my hand and I will never will, my guess would be the first one you proposed. Although I believe it does not change anything if it's the second one, although it doesn't make much sense - it would be harder to read those.

Most likely the first one (outside text).

Firstly, because i never saw or read manga with the second one (inside text), but i'm not sure jap version though.
Secondly, like Kolox said, it is harder to read if it is placed inside, especially if the book manga is thick.
Thirdly, sometime the drawing take up the whole two page... so it is less likely for inside text.

Anyway, I don't have any any original SR japanese print... never even thought of buying the untranslated one.

hmm thats what I had originally but recently i was looking at some Inuyasha scans and I saw the page numbers listed on the inside which was weird so I wasn't sure about SR
