I honestly feel really touched by the strength of Harima's feelings for Tenma that is shown in this chapter. A feeling that goes undaunted for 262 chapters straight--not even by the 'interferences' of perhaps two of the most desirable women in School Rumble (being Yakumo and Eri)
Also, I have to make an apologize to Swampstorm. I don't know if you still remember me or not... but our last encounter is less than favorable... I am admit a lack a serious amount of refinement of my Internet mannerism back then, and for that I apologize. I also have to apologize to that person I accused of being a fanboy of Eri... Who is that again? I really, truly, honestly forget his name since it's been a while (more than a year perhaps) since my last less than favorable meeting with that dude.
I also apologize to the other member of this forum who may have got disturbed by my actions way back then. I hope it's okay for me to post again in this forum, and I'll promise that I'll try to be reasonable at all times.
Well, as far as the previous point goes, it's hard to be an underdog when your opponent is letting you hit them. So it all works out the same way.Quote:

You'll undoubtably be relieved to know that I have most graciously decided to grant you permission to post on these forums of mine, on the condition that you become my minion. I know, I know... no need to thank me.Quote:

Tenma rejecting Karasuma's marriage proposal, lol but anyways
I usually struggle skipping a whole paragraph when I read a really stupid statement, but I must read everything to see other's point of view entirely even if I think they are idiotic. The curry thing is looooooooonnngg gone and it was used as a comical deviation IMO to mask the truth. The truth is, Karasuma is in critical condition and there is a chance that this is a terminal condition... to blame Karasuma for not loving Tenma entirely is just as judging Harima for being so rushed on things without knowing or asking why.
Im sorry if I came out like this but I really hate it when people include curry in the argument when it was intended for comical purposes, yes it was funny and I laughed my ass off, but I read or at least tried to read every single chapter to understand the big picture even if I didnt like it, but lets go back to the current situation.
Lets put Harima in Kasuma's shoes, knowing that she loves you, but you know that you are terminally ill. You dont know if your surgery in the United States is going to be succesful, there is a lot of ethics at stake in Karasumas situation, and unless you are in that situation I dont think you could not understand the whole scope in the issue.
OMG lol Karasuma didn't want Harima to see Tenma when she came over to his house???. For Christs sakes Karasuma invited Harima over to his house when Harima went all EMO... Karasuma also knew Tenma was there.
Like Harima said it... Give her a lifetime of love... what lifetime of love... the last chance he might've had to live was in America and the last chance to give her a lifetime of love.
"Looking at it from a literary perspective, confronting Karasuma is the most heroic action for Harima. His alternatives are to do nothing (which is right out) and to try to comfort Tenma himself. However, comforting Tenma is not something that Harima is in a place to do; it would also be dangerously close to moving in on her in her moment of weakness"
Lol what are you talking about this would be the best time to make a move on Tenma, every guy knows this.
All harima is doing is making things worst due to the conequences of his own actions...
Something else I dont have a single favorite character in SR, I actually admire them all, what I think of these characters is that they all have some kind of flaws or challenges they must overcome and I trully believe their opponets are the key to solve this problems for they have something they all lack.
I would discard the idea that Karasuma told Tenma about his illness. I know shes not the one that would give up on Karasuma's illness just like that and cry. She would find any possible way to save him, go to America and help him fight it etc...
But who know this is not a fact.
Also, it's pretty much what you said that makes Harima's actions heroic. Of course I looked at it as a joke, but how many guys would actually look at this opportunity and say, "Alright! Time to make my move." Harima instead looked at it and said, "Dammit even if it pains me to do so, I need to make this right so Tenma could be happy." Of course, he could have approached it differently, but that's not how he is. Even though he may come off as a bastard to some, he had good intentions when he approached Karasuma (for the msot part).
Well I think you are kind of amusing person too, to be honest. So yeah, let us continue to amuse each other (in a nice, friendly way, of course)
And sorry, I am not interested to become your minion. Not unless, you can pay me good money for it... :)
Btw, what's the name of that other dude again? I honestly forgot; it would be nice if you can extend my apologies to him as well.
