Eri had lot of chances to confess to Harima, Tenma never tried that so her motives about Harima were obvious.
That's silly. Tenma herself flipped out when Eri even sat next to Karasuma on the bus, even though it was clear that she didn't have romantic interest in Karasuma. It's not about whether you have an interest or not - it's about getting in the way. In Tenma's case, she was doing it day in and day out. If she was really "considerate" towards Harima, then she'd try and nudge Eri to act. A good example of the proper way to act is when Eri nudged Karasuma to cheer up Tenma on the baseball field.

See, Yakumo slapped Eri and that wasn't appealing too - actually that whole situation was a mess to begin with... and now the manga looks like "Nothing really happened - we are starting from point zero" - at least in Harima case...
In Yakumo's case, though, people tend to have the preconceived notion that she can do no wrong. So when Yakumo arbitrarily hits Eri to make herself feel better and feels oh so remorseful a few chapters later, all is forgiven and she can go back to "unintentionally" interfering in Eri's relationship with Harima. But why would you find fault with Yakumo when there's a much easier target nearby?

Well, the problem in Harima's case is not so much that nothing has moved, but rather he's become really rather cowardly and self-serving as of late. When Karasuma is clearly outshining Harima in all respects, why bother watching Harima when Karasuma has become a far more interesting character?

Did I say it was justified ? I see the reason, but in comparison - it's Tenma's revenge which looks silly and little compared to Eri's. Root was the same, but see what a huge difference.

Tenma did a big favour for Eri not nudging Harima - I think the girls actually made it clear that everything she touches turns into disaster

Yakumo is boring - I'm definetely going to skip the chapter in which the ghost girl will appear again.

The fact is, Karasuma didn't become much more interesting character because after all those chapters we learnt that taking seriously what Karasuma said leads to ... nothing. Hence lot's of people don't believe that terminal diseases.

Also he liked Tenma and that was a fact for at least 50 chapters - before we could assume he liked her a lot because he spent time with her.

just read all of this recently aand have to mostly agree with kolox over swampstorm with the eri/temna thing though they are both bad!

Will say the cast are a bunch of 16-17 yr olds so at that age its never going to be simple on a emotional level so i.e Eri lashing out and at Temna for getting more attention from Harima which led to the comical snow slap plus Eri slagging off Mikoto cus of temna's idiotic misunderstanding so it swings both ways, but it a fact that Eri's been a bitch on more than once to her friends and done herself no favors with Harima! She's been jealous and acted spoilt but that part of love for a teenager!

Temna is like Homer Simpson for her actions and idiot behavior and long may it continue!

Though it wasn't shown in the manga, Tenma said at the slumber party before the walking festival that Eri had apologized to her with a lot of tears. So Eri did make up for how she treated Tenma.

well, yeah.. i didn't think that the eri/tenma misunderstanding was a big deal at all. If I am in Eri's shoe, I would do the same, as I tried to ignore my friend that betrayed me (having some fun with my first ever crush!) & even, I did not actually know that she was waiting outside the whole time to make up for me (as the butler didn't see tenma)..

I think its tenma's fault trying to saying something at a wrong time & be at the wrong place.. (the one before the class's album act & during eri's birthday)

i think, anyone may considered doing them without noticed, eri even shocked realising that tenma waiting all that night to make up for her... I dont think eri is been a bitch, though.. she may tried to acted cool, but the way her coldness are somewhat can be overwhelming..
