If I am Karasuma, the best way to dump...erk...reject Tenma is to tell the ultimate truth(the sickness). But that if me,meh. The last thing Mr K want to do is to create another misunderstanding especially from Tenma....wait...nevermind.
And Harima&Hanai need a kick. Is it so hard to talk privately asking what actually happen? LOL
Anyway, its a chapter appropriate with its title, life is wonderful. :)Its good,really.

Karasuma probably won't tell the truth to Tenma since it will only make her sadder. But if he did tell her, maybe Tenma will say something like "Please let me be with you until the last moment" soap-opera style while crying :D Maybe JK want to conclude School Rumble but who knows.Quote:

There's actually a bit more to it than that. The film on which the title is based is a feel good movie in which everything goes horribly wrong for the protagonist until the very end, when all of his problems are miraculously solved at the last minute.Quote:

What I meant by good is,its depict the dilemma of adolescent life . Ahh, To be young again ,hahahaha. Just look at the other characters, innocently happy (maybe heh heh). I am more interested in Mr K ending though. Nvm though, he have clone.

Speaking of Yakumo, the chain of events that unraveled with her are quite interesting. When we see her on page 5, the first thing she thinks of is Harima's feelings. Then suddenly she remembers about her sister. Yakumo knows pretty much everything that's going on, which includes Tenma's, Harima's, and even Karasuma's feelings. She knows what Karasuma is going to say to Tenma, and she knows how she would probably react. Despite knowing this, she turns and joins the rest of the classes. I believe this is significant because she has chosen not to be the doting sister for a change. Those last things she says leads me to believe that she is starting to think of herself, but I could be reading too much into that part.
The first thing that I thought when I saw Tenma crying at the end was, "YES!" Not because I liked seeing her crying (she is my 2nd favorite character after all, behind Harima), but because now this is starting to go the way I wanted it to. The way I see it, she either got rejected, or those are tears of joy. I hope those aren't tears of joy because I would be severely pissed. I don't think Karasuma told her about what's going on in terms of his health because if that were the case, I don't think Tenma would have left Karasuma's side at that point. Also, with that expression, I don't see her saying anything like, "Karasuma is dying." With an expression like that (crying but grinning) it resembles an expression where you would say, "Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be." I mean, she's obviously sad that she got rejected, but she doesn't want to worry her friends by acting torn (which is she is) so she forces a smile. I could see that happening. I can't see her trying to force a smile if she just found out that Karasuma is dying. Even for a strange character like her, that seems a bit extreme. So, I don't think she knows yet, but you never know.
Anyways, if things go like I think, and hope, they would, Harima is going to see Tenma crying since he seems to have a sixth sense for sensing her misery. He's going to ask what's wrong, but he'll probably be repelled by Tenma's friends (mostly Eri). Even though Harima isn't the brightest fellow (he's flat out idiotic actually), he'll know it has to do with Karasuma. Being the person that Harima is, he would then go out and look for Karasuma to see what happened. Then he would learn everything and since Tenma's happiness is more important than his own, he will force Karasuma to tell Tenma the truth (his health condition and how he really feels towards Tenma) even if he has to do it by force. Then a few things could happen:
1) Karasuma would man up and tell the truth about everything, and Tenma and Karasuma would maintain a long distance relationship until his demise (if he actually dies, though the series would probably end before that). In the process Harima would move on and may fall in love (genuinely) with Yakumo or Eri.
2) Same as the first, except Tenma realizes all the things Harima has done for her (including that they first met when he saved her from some thug) and thanks Harima for everything he has done for her and apologizes for all the misunderstandings. Thus Harima would be able to move on and may get with Yakumo or Eri, but I think in this situation, it's more probable for him to just leave for a while and become a successful mangaka.
3) Same as #2, except Tenma realizes that she really loves Harima after she learns all the things he has done for her and they end up together (I don't think this one is very likely).
4) Karasuma leaves without telling Tenma the truth causing Harima to lose all respect for him as a man (and resent Karasuma). Then school rumble would probably continue into the characters' third year in which I have no clue what would happen afterwards (but I think the story would focus on Harima and Tenma's progressing relationship). This would be my favorite choice, even though I don't want to see School rumble last that much longer.
5) Similar to #4, except Karasuma tells Harima that he can't be by Tenma's side, but that he knows how Harima feels about Tenma, and asks him to watch over her. It's pretty much the same as #4, but in this scenario, it would be more likely to end, or at least end shortly after wards. Whereas in #4, the series would probably continue for a while. This scenario is also not bad. If #4 doesn't happen, I wouldn't mind this one.
This is my insight. I can't wait to the next chapters to see if my wish would come true.
ahhh, Harima and Yakumo, the one who know nothing with the one who know something.
I vote for 2, Mangaka Harima, that actually draw the SR in SR(u know what i mean) telling us his life story..erk,rather his love story..erk, failed love story. In the end(if this theory not crazy enough) Harima that actually draw this manga(SR as an ending) for the world :).Like dreaming in a dream heh.
He is a mangaka,so its possible. Story of Harima Kashun(want to us kenshin though lol)(jk) on his own manga . 2 cent :)
I was rewatching the anime and rereading the manga, trying to figure out what happened to SR that it doesn't get me so much lately. And I got an answer...
..I hate Eri. The girl that was most essential character in whole SR, the one that made us laugh, the one we supported - in all latest chapters I kinda disliked her. I think It started with the Tenma incident, when she treated Tenma like ..forgive my language..like shit. Then Eri's actions weren't as interesting as they used to be - they lacked charm.
And Yakumo ? At last it seems she understands what she wants, but still can't grasp it - something that she could really grasp and quite easily.
Also Karasuma started to annoy me - there was one insignifact chapter when Tenma confessed to Karasuma but she thought it was a dream (it was when she went to storehouse with masks - ch.189) and Karasuma said "Yes, I want to go out with you" and then BUM - progress ? Maybe. I would say emo progress - if he knew that this relationship had no future yet he was ready to be with her, so what the hell..I shouldn't be saying that about a dying person (if he is dying) but he is a complete emo about his sickness. Annoying emo.
And Harima ? Is it manga or Tenma - because somehow he really can't connect those two anymore...
O boy, the ending is so ambiguous that one has to wonder if this is another KJ-esque misunderstanding type of scenarios but hopefully it is REAL progress. With Tenma free and heartbroken, that can add to the dynamics of Oudou which would be good for flag but bad for Onigiri.
Anyways there could be three possibilities:
Tenma confess, Karasuma rejects because he knows he gotta go
Tenma doesn't confess but Karasuma tells her he has to go (maybe revealing his disease and thus making her sad)
Or misunderstanding.
And am I the only one creep out by the last picture of Tenma crying. It was kind of scary, I dunno.
