Anyways, what is up with Yakumo? Kobayashi is seriously abusing the fact that he hasn't really developed her character. First she's acting out in support of Oudou, then she seemed to be rooting for Flag (for like one chapter), and now she's suddenly doing her best to hook up Tenma and Karasuma. Really, she appears to be favoring whichever faction suits the plot most at the moment.
Pick a side, Yakumo. We're at war.
This chapter (257) is uncharacteristically depressing. 2 bombs dropped at once.
So, does this mean Karasuma is also a psychic like Yakumo? And what illness prevents usage of electric appliances?
And where the hell did ojou's civility and altruism come from?
yay, sorry, i didn't notice that b58 was in chinese...
wow, onigiri is on a roll!! the story took a darker path.. or maybe somewhere there, a twist is waiting for us? or maybe it is a sign of an impending ending? in the case that karasuma dies, there will be a drastic change to the storyline of SR, it's either an ending for the story or a new beginning...
^death of Karasuma=new beginning? I seriously doubt it.
I'm banking on the illness either being a really bad joke or something that will be cured, because otherwise this manga will have turned into the School Days ending -_-
erase this post then
I repeat, this is a RAW thread. There are another DISCUSSION thread running, please use it. But everyone is free to post, I guess.
It's funny how people tend to not read what was posted above them.
Hey, moderators, how about turning this into a general RAW manga discussion thread? Other forums do this, so let's copy them.
Chinese raws are out and you can find them at Tokyotosho. Here's a crappy summary from me about them. Spoiler alert, not much happens:
In Chapter 258, Yakumo and Harima have a conversation that ends up with Yakumo almost confessing to him (if I remember a translation of the summary correctly) but Harima, as usual, misunderstands her and believes she loves manga. It turns out Eri, Mikoto and Akira are watching this. Eri says something and walks off. Scene cuts back to Harima and Yakumo. Harima thinks some stuff, hears people talking in front of him, thinks some more, then he sees Tenma and Karasuma walking together and randomly starts running. Tougou sees Harima running and does something stupid.
Chapter 259, "Total Eclipse," is mostly interactions between Karasuma and Tenma, who are alone with each other. Karasuma almost smiles on one page, and Tenma acts like her normal shy and cheerful self. In the middle is another scene with Eri, Mikoto, and Akira; Eri appears pleased and is soon teased by Mikoto and Akira. Then, the story returns to Karasuma and Tenma (and she has a determined blush. Is she prepared to confess?) but is soon interrupted by Tougou's exuberant stupidity. As a result, Tenma and Karasuma are no longer alone; Tenma looks surprised in one panel, then falls into the imaginary pit of despair. Also, there's a shot of Harima which is some sort of gag, I guess.
No real development that I can see without translations.
well, that yakumo tried to confess to harima shows me she rly loves him
somehow funny that some ppl thought that onigiri will never get a real chance
