couple of questions
firstly, I feel bad for not keeping up with SR (and I'm sorry if these have been asked 100 times before), I was kinda hoping the anime would get another season soon around the time the second one ended but it's been a while and no word so I thought I'd just get caught up to date with the manga (thus, mostly ruining the chances I would enjoy the anime version should it come out)
anyway, what chapter does the anime end at?
and is the manga worth reading from the beginning if you've seen the anime? I mostly know what people are gonna say, since I would recommend people read claymore from the start despite seeing the anime.
^Actually, I'd say skip the parts you already covered in the anime because covering SR manga in bulk is especially painful, and there's very little difference in the manga and anime then. I don't know what chap begins where S2 ended (since I read that a year ago), but I'm sure Vincent, ultraness, Kyto, or Kolox (or others) will know the answer off the top of their head (because this is an old question).
Edit: The only things you may want to read fully are the b chapters, because the majority of them are not in the anime.
Well I dunno the exact details either... but from my downloaded scans I have up to Chapter 131 then skipped to the recent chapters... chapter 131 is the basketball arc so maybe around chapter 170-180 I think.
There are a few things skipped from the anime that's in the manga. It's not important but still worth the read. Things like Yakumo riding Harima's Bike and such.
wha~~ the old question! so many time so many time... so so~~ new term in the chapter #161 the second part of this chapter.
read the manga from the beginning is totallly worth , a little chocking (the art was not so clean) but worth. they're a lot of things that's not appear in the anime, Rinko-chan~~~ appear more often in the manga !!!!! and the chronology is a little different. totally worth
@ Elcura: Note that second season of anime has a lot of fillers in it, especially in the end where a lot of stuff between Yakuma and Harima occure that never happened in manga. I would recomend reading somewhere from basketball arc (as already mentioned, 130s chapters) so that "false" info from anime doesn't mix with "true" info from manga. It won't take much time anyways, given that chapters are pretty short. Oh, and, as Urameshi said, all of B chapters worth reading.
@ Rikem: Long time no see (write?)
And now my question to everyone - what was the last translated chapter and where can i get it - mangaupdates' last translation is arounf 2 months ago.
Hah, thanks for the answers. I was expecting some douchebagging (which I guess would be justified).
Season 1 ended at chapter 96
Season 2 started after that but I agree with Reinard its full of fillers that I've lost track of it
@Reinard: 245 was the latest chapter release in baka updates:
but in onemanga they have up to 247.
aahaha hi people i havent been updated since townsock didn't release english version stuck at 244 & 245 lol >< hehe same old question
manga continuation from anime?
School rumble chapter question
