    Default Anime/Manga Pairing?

Hi I recently started watching school rumble (anime), and I was wondering how the anime paired up with the manga... does it follow the same continuity, or are they very different as is often the case? (For example, with Inuyasha, it was possible to pick up the manga right were the anime left off).

The first season is nearly identical; the only exception being the last episode (maybe the last two, I forget) which adds some Karasuma silliness.

Meanwhile, the second season is not so faithful. Filler is added to many episodes, and a couple of episodes are entirely made-up. Then, the last few episodes have a bunch of Yakumo and Tenma stuff that didn't happen in the manga counterparts. Strangely, some of the new developments at the end of the second season (like Tenma becoming Harima's manga assistant) not present in the respective manga chapter do happen much later--well after the anime aired.

Anyways, you can pick off where the anime left off. Start around Chapter 150 or 160.

why does the word pairing in the SR section made me think of the SR Factions as a the main topic? @_@

Anyway. I agree with Ultraness about the first season being more faithful to the manga but there are some eps that were different in the anime and manga in the first season. (Karasuma's gift) so I suggest reading through them from start to finish again. You might notice some few things that you didn't notice when you first watch the anime. (theres too many characters to begin with so its hard to keep on track at the beginning on whos who)

I would start from the beginning with the manga. Because the anime doesn't show the funny side texts that the manga does.

Catgirl, SEEDs two original stories written by me. Review them if you like what you see.

Are there any big chunks that the anime excluded (up through chapter 150 in the manga) aside from nuances? (for example I don't remember the scene from kyto1984's sig [that seems like somthing big]... I'm on episode 8 of season 2 of the anime... hes already beard/moustacheless-- where is that from?)

Cuz I like the show, but I don't think that I am dedicated enough to the series to go through 150 chapters of stuff that has mostly already been shown...

    Thanks again!

The scene from Kyto's sig is from one of the newest chapters and is misleading...
