Harima is watching all this.

While thinking this he is touched by Karasuma.

If this is true, it's quite the development. Karasuma having an interest in Tenma should seal True Oudou, though it's no guarantee. For one thing, there could be some huge misunderstanding going on here (I have no idea how Kobayashi would pull this off), and I've seen series where a main character has rejected the long-time unrequited love after the love stopped being unrequited.

Me wants translation!!!!

Yeah, if it is true, True Oudou will get fucken huge development. And will most likely be sealed.

My favorite thing about this development is that it opens up a possibility for Harima to reject Tenma (because Karasuam and she are in love, maybe seeing that his feelings for Tenma are false) without Tenma rejecting him. Regardless, I am quite excited for the RAW and Townsocks's translation.

Yeah, it will be much better then him giving up after rejection.

Above all, the main character needs to have a relationship with someone secretly in love with the main character that's more developed than the protagonist's relationship with his/her own unrequited love. Also, there's usually hints that the relationship the main character initially desires won't work out. This describes Flag's position better than Oudou's, in my opinion.

I doubt he will reject Tenma, but...

I always wondered who was talking on the very first page of School Rumble. "I'll definitely tell you that thanks to you, I was happy..." At first I thought it was Tenma telling it to Karasuma, but lately I've been thinking it was Harima telling it to Tenma. I believe those will be his farewell words to her.

I guess we'll find out in a month or two...

Karasuma is such a funny guy. He gives up his manga promotion for Tenma with no qualms while Harima gets his mixed hopes dashed.

True Oudou's fate will be sealed? I don't think so (at least that easily), we must never forget that This is School Rumble !!

^Exactly. No pair is ever sealed in this series...though Ichijou x Imadori is consistently solidifying.
