Goody, finally more Yakumo with Harima. The fart thing was a bit poorly placed though.

I like Onigiri, but I agree that it's not a likely ending. One big obstacle is that if Harima ever does start to love Yakumo, she'll be able to read his mind, and that can cause some problems.

I don't think Yakumo's feelings can be classified as a childish crush. But on the other hand it's true that her inability to read his mind is one reason that she's drawn to him.

I'm not sure how this would invigorate Onigiri’s hopes, since I thought none of Yakumo’s and Harima’s scenes were romantic, in the least. Like, she finds Harima crying about not being able to fart at the beginning.

Actually, Yakumo seems to think Eri is the one for Harima after Chapter 216, and Harima has spent most of the series trying to sabotage Tenma's relationship with Karasuma. Also, I thought that true love was supposed to be mutual.

Obviously. This explains why Kobayashi had about thirty chapters dedicated mostly to Flag and Eri immediately after Yakumo won that poll.

Yakumo’s opinion of Harima in Chapter 206 sounds rather naive, to me; she reveals an elevated perception of Harima in this internal monologue, characteristic of one a teenage girl would have in a crush. Though, I would hesitate in calling Yakumo’s feelings an example of limerence, as well, since girls have strong romantic feelings towards their desired one in crushes.

Yeah but I think that's because KJ himself is rooting for flag. I dunno I seem to remember a rumour bout him married to half-white japanese girl. This chapter at least gives those rooting for Yakumo a glimmer of hope.

Actually, Yakumo seems to think Eri is the one for Harima after Chapter 216, and Harima has spent most of the series trying to sabotage Tenma's relationship with Karasuma. Also, I thought that true love was supposed to be mutual.
She thinks Eri might be better for Harima than herself, but she acted upon bringing Harima with the one he loved (Tenma). Remember how even at the beginning of the series Harima was on Karasuma's ass for liking curry instead of Tenma. Or when he found out about Tenma liking Karasuma, instead of sabotaging their relationship he went emo about it and then got over it. Or the birthday thing. I think overall he loves Tenma but wants her to be happy with Karasuma. True love doesn't have to be mutual.

Yakumo understands Harima the best out of the three (Tenma and Eri). "A strong heart that won't sway" That seems to perfectly describe him, I don't think that's very naive considering the amount of tunnel vision he has for Tenma.

Although it wasn't hugely romantic (most progressions in the manga aren't however), it still dealt with Yakumo's feeling towards Harima and that was something I thought was tossed aside a while ago.

Even thought I like Onigiri, I am quite sure that can't happen (and for stupid-manga-statistic : The queit and innocent types of girls don't get the guy they want mostly - Love Hina, Ichigo 100% and more).

Harima supporting Tenma x Karasuma ? Nope - he supports Tenma, Karasuma is just a tool for making Tenma happy, but Harima is still far from aknowledging him as the only guy who should be with Tenma (although he respects his mad-manga skills).

Yakumo , Little miss self-sacrifice. What I wouldn't give to see Eri do something similar instead of perceiving every girl around Harima as a rival (Yakumo, Tenma and even Mikoto) and activating b*tch mode. I was looking forward to Eri appearing to impress us with her new 'maturity' but this is also good: Yakumo. Funny how she wants to pursure a career in manga editing but why not admit it to Harima? Scared of the implications probably.

Poor Harima, every in class forgetting about his absence while he thought they would notice. That hospital food must be really something if it can power that much of Harima's ultimate gas attack XD. Terrorist attack indeed.

Karasuma. Really dramatic tension building here. I wonder if he is at the hospital for himself or someone else. Could he be dying (could explain his personality somewhat) and must be treated at a US medical facility? That could be the cause of a guilt trip if Tenma ever thinks that his staying in Japan is getting in the way of his treatments. I don't know how SR will continue if Karasuma snuffs it or leaves for good.

I'm still betting Karasuma is alergic on something

Yakumo can't say she wants to be manga editor because she knows herself that Onigiri is dead...

it was..... nice. i mean in a good way. i really can't put it in words but harima and yakumo talking so casually like that was.....touching.

on another note, can't help but feel that the series is coming to an end. i mean, technically, karasuma staying was like the catalyst that kept the story going on. and now, he's about to leave. man, i wish i'm wrong and kobayakawa comes up with something to lengthen the story a lot more.
    Do I have to?

^I think the series is nearing a climax, but not an end. There's just too much unfinished business to take care of . There's going to be a reaction to Karasuma's leaving, and it will probably make Karasuma stay or come back. I mean, Tenma got him to stay for another year by just writing a tablet...

I thought it was a scroll, not a tablet?
