It's not Townsocks. No one is putting up the RAW chapter so he has nothing to translate.

Grrr someone better s*** me a school rumble episode right now... I need my fix of school rumble... lol I sound like a crack h**....
I was watching the Anime the other day and also some others on you tube.. and man theres some pretty sick stuff... like an anime called daddy kiss in the dark or something sick like that... it almost made me puke... and another one which was kinda mild between a brother and a sister sibling stuff... not that bad... nice drawing and kinda funny... but the other stuff oh man... X_X

A notice from Townsocks if anyone is interested

You might have noticed that there hasn't been a School Rumble chapter out in a while -_-

I get my chapter raws from places like DAtorrents or TokyoTosho just like everyone else - and no chapter has appeared. I'm up and ready to Englishify but I'm helpless until raws are out.

I won't stop translating School Rumble until it's done so don't worry. At worst you guys will have to wait until the book raws come out which is every three months or so.

I hope this whole raw thing gets straightened out soon...

Don't forget little Tenma in the bottom. Tougou disturbs me though.

In any case, I believe we already have the chapters to volume 17. I sorted my Sukuran manga by Volume/Chapter, and Volume 16 ends at chapter #203 and b45.

Part of chapters #204-229 and b46-51 are on Volume 17+
I'm willing to bet we have chapters for Volume 18 as well, as there are too many chapters for Volume 17. This is of course simply my opinion, as I haven't downloaded that Volume 17 raw to see for myself.

Nonetheless, I wish they'd release those raws already..
While browsing for the files I needed for Sukuran Live, I came across chinese translated scans of chapter #228. I wonder where they got their raws from..

The final Chapter in Vol 17 is Chp216, to us it's actually Chp215, I wonder if they included an extra chapter...

if you're wondering which chapter I'm referring to it's the one where Yakumo Confesses her feelings to Sara about Harima and Eri...

the final bonus chapter in Vol 17 is the one about the girl who like surfing and right at the end she no longer trust boys and goes around cheating on them and stuff... i think... too lazy to check...

Even if we did, I'd recommend against reusing those to translate to english..
It brings up painful memories of my bootleg HK-subbed DVDs.

Hurray for turning "Akari" into "Xiaohingjuan."

That's an extreme (unfortunately, true) case but it'd still lose a lot of meaning.

yeah~~ i know too much ..; to much intermediary dislock the quality.. but that or nothing...

this chinese site release those chapter always two week late. they propably use a direct source. i mean they recieve the magazine on week late and do the scan and translation directly. well that explain the fact they was able to release the chapter without scan on the web~~
