I, for one, am very excited about how those voices will transfer to situational scenes where the characters have to yell or make weird noises. Tenma has some very cooky responses.

What, did anyone here actually expect to have the original actors learn English? Everyone here knows that with an anime that has Japanese culture richly embedded, there is no way it could truly be translated. The anime derives most of the humor on puns alone. I think it's necessary to have taken the actions they took to even have this gold states-side.

There, I said it. Now, you can take whatever I wrote and cut/paste so you can try to disprove me and have things your way, big babies.

P.S., the big baby part doesn't concern you of you didn't complain about the voices.

Anyways... I believe everyone here that posted their opinion believes they could've done a better job... Its not about the culture itself, its about the quality of work... I know one of the songs from school rumble trnaslated in spanish and Im not talking about subs, and it came out really good.
I wasnt expecting such a good job from an amateur... if you guys wanna see the video I can post it next time.

I guess its from bad experiences.

I've seen some animes that gets slaughtered after they gave them some bad voice actors/actress. I really hope that this is just a trial run and they have some really good dialogues later on. (school hard) <- ????

what can we say. School rumble had a lot of very good japanese voice actress/actors. thats why Fans had a lot of expectation from this.

The girls have such bad voice actors but..I didn't expect it to be any better - english version almost always sucks (except Cowboy Bebop english version, I liked it better than Japanese).

Ugh... I only hope that it's better in the dvd. I worry for the other characters especially Rinko, but I think I'm the only one that cares for her...

but, back of topic. i rewatched episode 6 and 10 of season 2 where rinko talk(damn too little time) and~~ damn i love her voice (so rinko~~ lol). i will follow her forever !! *will search the seiyuu~~ later*. anyways for the dub , any not forced voice will do it.

Karasuma... is Trunks. Karasuma is Trunks. Somehow I just can't picture that.

Tenma and Eri's English voices were also in Negima, apparently, and Karasuma, Eri, and Mikoto were in FMA. So at least they haven't been in any other anime that I've watched.

karasuma , thrunks?? seriously ?? XD karasuma is quite the super sayan in the manga of Harima so it's the right choice xDDDD
