Hmmm....where do you live, again? Perhaps you'll need help soon, right after Flaggers will come to get your head.Originally Posted by Digital_Eon

I wonder who's at the very lowest rung of that ladder?
Hey, there are other kinds of stupidity besides academic! Eri's thoughts about Harima for a long time certainly didn't indicate any kind of actual thought and intelligence, seeing how she thought he liked her. =P

It's a bit hard to gauge stupidity. I would say everyone except Akira is pretty stupid. Or has acted stupidly at some point.
You make your face a mask. A mask to hide your face. A face to hide the pain. A pain that eats your heart. A heart nobody knows.
Hehehe, what about Karasuma then? I say his behaviour is more like extremely weird than stupid.
That's why I didn't exclusively discuss grades - in some cases, diligence may compensate for intelligence. The rate at which you learn is very important as well - and in that specific regard, Eri is the best in her class. To a certain extent, that talent is offset by her emotional nature, which makes her impulsive at times (this is where I'd say that Akira gets her advantage), but she's still well ahead of the rest of the class.Originally Posted by Digital_Eon
There are a couple of characters (Hanai for one) who may score well in school, but have a very rigid way of thinking. One of the hallmarks of an intelligent mind is adaptability.
When someone confesses to having feelings for you, it's human nature to interpret their actions in light of that fact - regardless of how intelligent you are (and it certainly doesn't help when Harima insists on speaking in an ambiguous manner). Also, don't forget that an omniscient member of the audience, you have access to information that Eri lacks.Originally Posted by Digital_Eon
Well, even Akira made a miscalculation during the penguin fiasco. But the occasional mistake doesn't make a character stupid.Originally Posted by eviscerator
Oh, come on, now!
Six characters with only 2 sentences each and funimation already killed it?
I, for one, am very excited about how those voices will transfer to situational scenes where the characters have to yell or make weird noises. Tenma has some very cooky responses.
What, did anyone here actually expect to have the original actors learn English? Everyone here knows that with an anime that has Japanese culture richly embedded, there is no way it could truly be translated. The anime derives most of the humor on puns alone. I think it's necessary to have taken the actions they took to even have this gold states-side.
There, I said it. Now, you can take whatever I wrote and cut/paste so you can try to disprove me and have things your way, big babies.
P.S., the big baby part doesn't concern you of you didn't complain about the voices.
