Thread: Inaba's goal

I wonder, what it is? To me it seems pretty unlikely that it is to get Hanai - unlike hwat she is saying herself. The reason to not belive her words is her personality - she seems to be pretty much of a fox, what she showed in chapter 190 when talking to Eri about her relationship with Harima, - and the way she is carrying out her "resolve" to start dating Hanai.

Sanding Yakumo is a really bad decision - if we assume that she really wants to get Hanai - it is like giving the main enemy all the advantage. It is much simplier to put letter in his shoe box or to give it herself. I'm sure the last one will work, unlike what she is saying - Hanai is gentle to girls and will never turn down anyone without paying attention to thier troubles - such a heartless act is not something a true president of a council would do after all. And Inaba already has an experience of successfully geting near Hanai - when she asked him to help with her homework (forgot what chapter). So it won't be hard to do the same one more time. But, instead sheis sending Yakumo. The question is - why? Does she want them to pair up, or does she want Yakumo to reject him, or maybe her desire is to look at a couple of funny scenes - like Akira always does?

Any opinions?

first that was not inaba but saeko who ask hanai help for some math lesson chap #191. inaba hair is more curvy than Saeko hair. little detail little detail, that make the woman well you can add the fact htat saeko is the only high school girl in SR with earrings

second she's in search for a lover.so in chap #190, she need to do some research first so she ask some question to a sempai (eri) and discover that's in fact she's single. and tease Eri with some project on Harima. that's all.

third, she's in search for a lover so in chap B51, she go for Hanai who is single with a lot of good point. and well no real concurrence. no one make move on him... [edit]easy target but damnit why they always [edit] forget to put a name on the love letters >.<

[edit] One day we will see some direct confession in SR ... one day...

well if Inaba really is interested in Hanai then my poll in the Hanai pairing thread is now right. XD

I don't think sending Yakumo would count as giving the main enemy an advantage. Everyone knows that Yakumo isn't interested with Hanai and they also know that she's a bit scared of him.

The question is - why? Does she want them to pair up, or does she want Yakumo to reject him, or maybe her desire is to look at a couple of funny scenes - like Akira always does?

well this are my guesses: If Inaba is serious about Hanai, She wants them to finally end it, the whole Hanai-chasing-Yakumo thing, and give everyone else (herself) a chance with him.

If she's not serious. she just wants to actually help Yakumo resolve things between Hanai or she's pulling an Akira XD.

She looks more like a Saeko-girl, but maybe not. She doesn't seems to love Hanai so much at all. She thinks he is cool, so why not he being her lover? And she knows Hanai loves Yakumo. Maybe she did the mistakes on purpose, just to see what will happen XD She is quite a cute girl through ^_^

Is it really so? I mean - what is the reason she askes Eri if she (Inaba) can go for Harima or not? As i see it, she was not asking it with the plan to clear the way for getting Harima, but to test Eri's words about her not being in any special relationship with Harima.

I think she is giving that speech about how Hanai is great and all just to excuse sanding Yakumo with this letter, not because she really is attracted to Hanai because of this good points.

Concurrence - Mikoto. Yuki and Akira are out of question here, because Inaba most likely knows nothing about thier feelings, while she can see Mikoto as "rival" here. I think she must be able see what 2C girls are able to saee in Mikoto's behaviour.

And she forgot to put name on purpose, didn't she? So that Hanai will think that Yakumo is the one who wrote the letter....

Although i understand your logic, I don't think it is true, since I don't see any feelings for Hanai in Inaba.

Well, your words about how "noone cares about Asou" expresses your preferences, not Inaba's => have nothing to do with current discussion. What i'm interested in is why Inaba is going for Hanai, not, for example, Asou who is easier to get. I used Asou as conrtargument to ASGuy's statement that she choose Hanai because he is cool, since Asou is cool too, and at least, not less cool then Hanai. In this case Suga doesn't work, since clown (who Suga is, just as his pals Yoshidayama nad Nishimoto) can't be cool.

Second one is possible too, though less likely to be the case, as i see it. It is in the same group of characteristic with Ggonzo5's statement "She probably switches who she likes every couple weeks" which makes Inaba just Imadori or Saeko-like character, while it would be much better if she were a more complex one.

hmm im really confused with inaba and saeko i cant distiguish one from another haha can you site me certain chapter show difference on them they just look the same

so. kinda wrong. chap#190, inaba said that she will aim for the same type of guys, who's eri type (normally). smart is one quality needed.
