Yuki not doing much has more to do with her not being a main character than her being unsociable. She is the substitute class representative, though, so she has to be somewhat sociable. At the very least, she's more sociable than Yakumo.

Well, I have to agree with Ultra. Yuki doesn't stand a chance winning over Hanai. But what i really want to see is Yuki will try to confess to Hanai or something >.< ..... That will be some funny thing as well.....

And what wrong with becoming emo ???? i'm an emo person myself hehehehehe. The last time i said that, SD gave a pic full of punker that i don't even understand ^_^U

Yakumo and Yuki. Hmmmm, before Yakumo got her friends beside Sara i would say Yuki is more sociable. But now..... maybe Yakumo is chasing Yuki in term of Sociable....

It wouldn't do Yuki any good to go after Hanai. He'd be too nearsighted to recognize her efforts.

I don't understand why it's okay for Yakumo to be emo, but not Yuki. My racism senses are tingling.

It was Sara who made the effort to become Yakumo's friend, so no social points for Yakumo there. It's always Harima who asks Yakumo to come over to help him on his manga, so no social points for Yakumo from hanging out with Harima. The only serious attempt we've seen of Yakumo taking the initiative and trying to make friends and socialize was in Chapter b49, and it's rather pathetic (and the other two girls end up doing most of the socializing).

As for Yuki, she has a close friendship with Mai, is part of the astronomy club, participated in a band, and seems to be involved with the student council. She seems to have zero difficulty socializing, except when Hanai is around. Based on what's been shown so far of Yuki and Yakumo in terms of socialization, I'd say that Yuki trounces Yakumo.

That's harsh >.< ..... BTW : Just realized, wasn't in the Survival Game event. Hanai seems to know/ have some "feelings" to Yuki by feeling sad over Yuki's death then Mikoto needs to "cheer" him ( can't find the appropriate vocab ). And there is the byclye incident....
Ah but at this state, Hanai still to blinded by Yakumo anyway to be distracted by either Mikoto or Yuki.......
Good news for Kolox i guess...

Agree with u. What i mean exactly is in chapter b49 Yakumo seems to learn to socialize with people ( she wanted to do it for a start ). That's make her more sociable than before when she only have Sara as her friend ^^. Yuki is more sociable in the Yagami world than Yakumo. She is the subs class rep. after all. Yakumo in the other hand are much more sociable to us readers >.<
Just in the Yagami world i think that Yakumo slowly learning to become sociable with others...

Compare Hanai's reaction to Yuki's death to his reaction to Mikoto's death.

The flute chapter shows us that Mikoto can take over his complete attention to the point where Yakumo can no longer read Hanai's mind.

Well, i know Mikoto still got the upper hand on Hanai. But to overcome Hanai's likeness to Yakumo, Mikoto still have to work hard....
