Is it just me or is there something not quite right about Eri's face and her expressions =S
I really doubt that for now harima is going to think of eri in any possible romantic way. Until harima gets Tenma out of his mind an erixharima pairing is almost impossible
I think that the reason for harima evading eri(if he is actually evading her), it would be because he fells embarassment for thinking that eri wuold like him. Also it could create more misunderstandings.
Chapter is out! Its...interesting to say the least.
I don't get what the 2ch crowd is so upset about. What Eri reacted to was typical Hige idiocy, no surprise there. Flag will only be in trouble if she takes an active interest in someone else, and since we're near the end, that's not happening.
The tunnel vision is definitely going to start breaking down from here on.
Chapter 217 Torrent Link http://www.tokyotosho.com/details.php?id=61184 for those too lazy to google it.
That was a LONG LONG chapter... will there be no new chapter next week????
Anyways I get the feeling that Harima is going back into Isolation as his he left his stranded (Maybe Tae-san will Dig him up from his grave)... That was sad what Tenma did to Harima... Almost like stealing his dreams... I was a little confusing about Harima Confronting Eri About her crush with him.. was he talking in Gangster Slang so she'd misunderstand him or what or did she thought he was talking about his Manuscript?... quite lost on that maybe reading it a few more times will help. That was funny when Harima caught the wrong train... the one for only Women and he thought he was a babe Magnet or something.
Oh yeah Rinko-chan was In this Chapter LOL!
The Cycle of Rumble continues, The birth, the rise, the fall, the death and a new birth... Will the Cycle ever end? Only Karasuma's will tell...
I'm surprised that nobody mentioned the important exchange between Yakumo and Sara. I'll give you guys an accurate translation before elaborating:
Page 206 -
"Tsukamoto Yakumo (塚本八雲), after (後) the impact of (衝撃の) the confession (告白)..."
"Dinner (夕飯)? How unusual (珍しいね) - by yourself (一人で)."
"W... Well (ううん), a little (ちょっと)..."
"Something (何か) happen (あったの)?"
"Y... Yeah (うん)."
"Did you progress (進んだ)?"
"A little... towards (少しは) my (自分) mark (的)."
"Oh--! Just what (何て) did you say (言ったの)?"
...I'll edit my translation for page 207 into this post later, as it's late (or rather, early) and I am rather tired.
Anyway, my point herein is that these two pages were mistranslated and thus held some implications or inferences (such as Yakumo not really giving up on Harima) stronger than they would be held or at all for that matter. It seems that townsocks guessed his way through a lot of the dialogue in this chapter, as rather than translating the "teki" part in "jibunteki" for its kanji, he opted for merely translating the furigana. The result: you get the false term "my enemy" over the correct term "my mark/target."
I'm going to assume that the latency of his release was due to his holding out while trying his best actually translate the areas he was guessing on yet still reached the limitation of his knowledge and eventually gave up.
P.S. I won't be making any undeserved responses to the specific two who decided to pull an "ad hominem" on me in the chapter 215 thread, so to those two, you might want to save yourselves some time typing. Oh, and citing one's reference does not fall under "appeal to authority." Such is how adults properly argue and debate to accurately deliver their points. The fallacy of "appeal to authority" is, rather, qualified by citing one's self as an absolute reference.
This is not a high school debate club with a set limit on outside resources, so I will be citing as much credible evidence as I damn well please.
Y'all might want to learn some proper argumentation before you even try to use it against me. It isn't very wise to reversely fire a bazooka with your back to a wall. ;)
Oooh! Looks like somebody finally made good on his claims despite promising us that he wouldn't return. *light applause*
