Looks like Eri ultimately had a good time though. Even if they never made it inside the oyster bar.

Tenma has total faith in Eri as a person, she can't believe Eri would be mad at her for no reason... the smile she presents on the way out the door was sort of sad...and im not sure what to make of Yakumo's look.

Looks like she wants to do something...

Chapter 210 should be very interesting...

Actually what was that part at the end with Umezu?? Sort of felt out of place...

That look of Yakumo sure tells us something, I guess a look that will quarrel to anyone anytime, anyway I don't think she will be ever mad at her sister for doing such things...instead, she is mad at Eri for making her sister look like that. It looks like Yakumo will be b*tching Eri in the next chapters.

I'm starting to hate Yakumo's character.

About Umezu, I think he cried seeing her girlfriend getting off from another person's car (looks like an extremely rich one also), and Harima seeing his situation lost his nerve to ask for some money, I think that's it.

Well so far, Yakumo has never verbally quarreled, but has had confrontations with Eri...
Tenma never really did anything, Eri seems to have taken the wrong approach to the whole situation lately.

i do get annoyed because she never loses... lol, if she gets in a confrontation you can bet she is winning
the thing is she only gets in confrontations to protect her sister though, so it makes enough sense...
(sometimes i think i quarrel with myself)

Yea looks like this is a plot device to keep Eri and Harima alone in the cold a little longer...hmm?

Well I just hope that Yakumo would just stop Tenma from going out and tell her to do it the next day so as to give more quality time for Eri and Harima... I got the feeling that despite all the misfortune of Eri and Harima in Tokyo, given the situation (even without a cellphone), chances are they will cross path.... and oh yes, Yakumo is tagged along. There might not be a quarrel, but still a lost of good moments for flag.

Well, Tenma's right; Eri is mad at her for a reason. Hey, isn’t that something? Tenma isn’t misunderstanding someone’s behaviour for a change!

Anyways, her smile is kind of sad. Eri had a sort of sad look on page five, too, after Harima gave her the croquette.

I think Umezu thought his girlfriend was cheating on him and was depressed because of that, and Harima couldn't ask a depressed guy for money.

I don't think it really has anything important to do with the plot. There's a bunch of loose ends in terms of relationships in School Rumble, and I think that in this moment and Chapter b47, Kobayashi is starting to clear them up before the end of the series.

I've thought about it, and I'm getting the feeling the three will cross paths and both Eri and Harima will think Tenma came looking for Harima, followed by Eri being convinced Tenma likes Harima and sacrificing her feelings for Tenma in order for the two to be happy together.

You are right, Tenma was sad indeed. But she look determined, I don't think that Yakumo would be able to stop her even if she tried. And I don't think that she even will try to. Those eyes of her doesn't seem like eyes of ultimate wrath to me. She is not angry. She is just sad. But again, when it comes to pictures interpretation, we'll most likely see what we want to see, so don't killl me for this.

It is indeed progress for Flag. And I agree with Ultraness, next chapter will most likely be explosive one.

BTW, in this picture Eri's eyes look a bit like Yakumo's, don't you think?

Deffinetely a good chapter for flag...started out with them arguing but it looked like they ultimately had a good time and grew a little closer despite the lack of funds. In all honesty though, none of the last few chapters have done much of anything to help Eri's cause. Kobayashi has been showing a very spiteful side of her. Maybe he's doing it to turn us off of her, maybe he's doing to show that she's still human and still has faults like everyone else. I don't know, but I do hope to get the whole Tenma/Eri conflict cleared up soon enough. The longer it goes on, the worse it makes Eri look and I don't like that one bit. Even if it is to make her more human as a character. This chapter did do a little to show us the good side of Eri but I still kind of have a bitter taste after how she was portrayed in 208.

That look of Yakumo just make me feel like nostalgic, like that time in Naruto, when Sasuke look at Naruto like that in the Hospital, and I can say....Ah! they have the same eyes. I'm not saying it's like that of wrath, but the eyes is beautifully drawn that it looks lively and really conveys her emotion in that situation that may come to light in the next few chapters.

Her eyes do sort of look Yakumo-ish in a gentle sadness sort of way, but you also said another thing "we see what we want to see" :P

Yea i really felt bad after Ch208, Eri showed a sort of strange behavior that left a bad taste and tainted the awesome smile in my sig lol
but theres no way im abandoning hope, i stick by my belief that shes a great person, even Tenma has that faith.

Note how Eri acted not thinking about Tenma at all. I think that even if Tenma will come here now and apologize Eri won't forgive her that easily.
