Wow, even I didn't understand all that. T_______T
Well, when you spent 6 year at school learning this language, you just need to know at least basics :)
I actually applied for one school in England, but unfortunately, they didn't want me :( But I'm pretty happy where I am.
About German and Polish - do you know German alphabet ? It's almost the same as Polish one (at least the latin words are pronounced the same).
I will teach you some basic -
Nazywam się Digital_Eon - My name is Digital neon
Pronounce : "Niasywam sy Digital_Eon" - easy isn't it :D
@Jakko : More or less :D (ekhem..Digi, did Jakko just said something bad about me ??)
German alphabet? No. ^___^;; But thanks for that lesson~ I'm just bad at learning these languages online; a friend tried to teach me Finnish and all I remember is something about a toaster...
Edit: No, I think he said something about understanding long words. Forgot what it was he said, though.
Yeah, but I think Jakko knows what my problem is (especially when I'm studying science).
So how did you learnt your Japanese ?
Um... online. But it's super-easy to pronounce. (Oh, and through books, and talking to Japanese people - I learned Engrish that way too!) Although I don't know it that well, not even conversationally.
(Problem? o_O)
Translation:
"So, you don't have the amount of words necessary to carry on long conversations of an intellectual(intelligent) nature, talking about the highest qualities of the mind, and the worst, most evil, parts of the soul."
Big words that mean the same thing as can be said with less complicated words, but used in this case merely to sound smart, rather than to help the reader? I know, pisses me off too.
Exactly, but they always do expect from you such crap even if they know you actually understand the topic. That's why I think I didn't get there :)
It's different communicating with students from england and with professors and doctors from england - what are they expecting me to say ??
"Methinks I can see with eyes of soul of mine" - surely I didn't even quote it well...
@Hime : Easy to pronounce ? Where :D? I actually know how to use some sentences for speaking and some basic grammar, but that's what I could learn by myself - this language isn't easy and it can't be learnt just by watching few anime episodes :) I was curious how did you managed to get so well with it so you can read your Reverse stuff :D (...maybe your a genious in disguise ??)
I can't read it - I got a translation! I just said that I can confirm whether it's basically true. ^_^;; And anyway, there's only one way to pronounce everything in Japanese... so I can read it if there's hiragana. But I told you, I can't understand super-well!~
*is actually fairly intelligent, academically... just not the rest of the time*
Well, you did say you recognize the "marriage" word :D (kekko..nah, whatever - I can't speak Japenrich :D).
I was thinking about learning Japanese by getting into some course, but I'm pretty old already and I don't have time for that... You should try to do so, maybe you will learn it well and you will be able to make your own translation group :D
How old are you, Kolox?
