Question: What are B chapters? Do I need to read them?
Answer: B chapters contain further information about main characters, information about side characters, some side stories. Conclusion: read of course!!!!!

So b chapters are at the same importance as main story in my opinion, the trick used is chronology

umm, does anyone have a chronological order for the b chapters after the 14 volumes? cause im kinda lost..

Look in thread School Rumble Anime & Manga download sources and General Info thread, all info we posess is there. Number of volumes in which B chapters after ch b41 belong to are unknown, since vol15 was the last volume for now.

What is your take on having Yakumo appear mostly in b chapters early on in the series? Did KJ first think of her and Sara as b chapter characters? Did KJ just change his mind about it? (he does say he makes up the story as he goes along) Was popularity of Yakumo a factor?

Personally way back when, i thought Yakumo really would be a mostly b chapter character, sitting on the sidelines, which would have destroyed any chance of her playing a part in the main story other than minor roles.

I think that at first he thought of using her as minor character but later - maybe he just discovered something new for himself in her character, something that made him change her role from minor to major.

And I don't think that her popularity influenced his decision somehow - he said that he didn't care about polls after all.

I think its her position in the story that made her a major character.
Its because she has a big influences in both Harima and Tenma.

And I don't think that her popularity influenced his decision somehow - he said that he didn't care about polls after all.
