Imagine Eri having to ACT out a love confession to harima, which is part of the movie's Script... THAT'D BE SO AWKWARD and there's a kiss Scene near the beggining of the movie too.

I doubt Harima or Eri will participate in the Movie... unless Tenma either

A) Persuades Harima
B) Takes over Eri's as the Main female character.

Eri will probably participate if Harima Participates and make up some lame excuse

Okay let's make it clear, [Tonwsocks] is the one-guy-Team who do the scantrad of School Rumble (well, all KJ release...). so... why did he choose tonwsocks for nickname ? i don't know .......

Damn... straight from the horse's mouth, Eri hears Harima's thoughts about her and pretty much clears up all the misunderstanding Eri might have had about how he feels about her... oh doesn't look good for us Flaggies... not good at all... though onigiri is having it bad too seeing how Yakumo totally skipped on her chance to be alone with Harima only to get Tenma in there. I doubt Eri hates Tenma, but if i was Eri and i had just heard what i heard from Harima, and Tenma comes the next day saying things like "how are things with Harima woo good couple this and that" i would have gotten just as angry being reminded about what Harima said that day. It must hurt... thats all i have to say

This chapter was an unexpected surprise. I didn't think there would be a chapter this week due to a comment made by somebody at a different forum.

Anyways, about the chapter: that was intense. It’s great to see some solid plot development; judging by Eri’s anger at the end of the chapter, it looks like Eri has finally realized the truth about Harima’s feelings for Tenma, and I don’t think even Kobayashi Jin can reset this development (not that I’d be surprised if he does). Since I seem to be the only person not wanting an Eri/Yakumo clash, I was pleased that Yakumo was used as a catalyst for future Eri/Tenma confrontations in this chapter, since that’s what I want to see.

Things appear so bad for Flag right now that it’s hard to believe how good the outlook was a mere ten chapters ago. Flag fans shouldn’t worry too much yet, though. For one thing, Flag has two major issues that need to be resolved, and this chapter seems to resolve one of them: obviously, Harima needs to reciprocate Eri’s feelings, and Eri needs to realize Harima doesn’t have a crush on her.

The increased tension and conflict in Flag is actually good for it, though it looks bad right now. Plots are built around conflict, and the basic romantic comedy conflict makes it seem like the main pairing will not get together before they actually do. The less likely it seems that they’ll succeed, the better it is when they do. That's why people root for the underdog.

Actually, I think Onigiri became considerably less likely to happen in this chapter. When a character doesn’t show any definite romantic interest in a possible partner, skipping chances to be with them is likely to be a sign that they aren’t interested.

I agree. I would have been surprised if Eri didn’t react they way she did.

But that’s in the past, and I’m concerned with how Eri acts after this. This is a potential branching point in the series, and Kobayashi can take two directions concerning Eri and Harima: either Eri will end up with Harima or she won’t. If Kobayashi opts for Flag, we’ll see scenes with Eri looking depressed to build more sympathy for her, as well as considerable development on Harima’s part. Should Kobayashi kill off Flag, we’ll only see Eri acting like a complete bitch from here on to convince us readers that we don’t actually want a Flag ending.

I wouldn’t worry about the latter scenario too much, though. Kobayashi has invested over 100 chapters to Flag, so it wouldn’t make sense to just kill it off.

Who cares why he chose Townsocks as his name? To quote from Shakespeare:

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

His name could be “Ultraness is a Douche Bag” and I wouldn’t care so long as he kept up his quick and excellent scanlations.

I’m sure reinard-fox will put a link in the “Eri’s birthday” thread. If not, the chapter will be available for direct download eventually on this site.

I recommend learning how to use torrents if you want to read new manga chapters as fast as possible.
