Yeah yeah.. Well, for sure it's really hard to think about all the subliminal messages the author is trying to show us here.
Sincerely, I think that the doll which had lost it's head in the beginning was representing anyone in special (if you see, the body of the doll is using a cloth which is different from the ones "Yakumo", "Eri" and "Tenma" dolls are using) I think it was just the "excuse" for the author to start the discussion between the girls. Something like, there is a doll (the princess) whichs head is not glued and broken, so, let's put the head of another one in replacement. which one? well, let's choose between those three there.
Also, I think that Eri is someone who's learning how to be a better person, about letting her selfishness and arrogance beside; (You can't compare the Eri in the start of the manga and the one who's now), she has become more adult, and if you think about it, it was all because Harima (in an direct or indirect way sometimes).
And no more the less, I sincerely think that these chapters are showing us the "real start" of School Rumble, as if the ones before were a preparation, making the base story to what's going to happen from now on. I'm really thinking the manga will become incredible in the next chapters. lots of things.
...Because..you know...the manga will probably last for more one or one and a half year (since they won't start telling the stories about all the characters in the university...c'mon...this will become an non-end story if so) So probably "soon" we will see what will be decided between Harima and Tenma. Honestly, I hope he gets kicked...depressed..and start living with a free-heart. I would really hate to see him been in this undecided situation for more one...two years.
Well, that's it. Happy New Year everyone. and here, yes..there will be more studying..I have the Univesity exams..argh.
Obs: Have you noticed that I can't...I simply can't..stop writing? all my posts get too big.
To Hitsuyaga Taichou.(too lazy to quote ever paragraph)
1)Yep, the whole thing "Oh, the princess has no head" is like you said - just an excuse to make a little battle between three girls
2) Eri changed - but she is still an Ojou Her personality still refuses defeat and she is still a little selfish and egoistic. Surely, she matured - but that doesn't conflict with her other characteristics. She also isn't (forgive me EFCPO) a 'bitch' who doesn't care about other people feelings (using boys as the way to entertain herself and coldly smash their attempts of confessing to her)
3) Start, yes. Start of the war - and the end of this final battle could also mean an end to series. Although I believe we can safely wait for another 60 chapters.
4) If you think about it - the whole situation (being unsure and lots of failures) helped Harima. Everyone will agree he changed for better, right ?? If it was so easy to obtain the girl who he loves - it wouldn't be worth it and he wouldn't cahnge a bit. Harima should be already happy he is much more better off than he was at the beggining (no skills, no ambitions, no friends, no education).
5) Thank you and for you too Hopefully for me, my exams were before christmas, so I have lots of free time now And the horror of Oxford students ended for me... God that was so week.... (those people are inhuman)
6) Your welcome to write even more, but refrain of such observations - you see, there are some people on this forum who prides themselves for writing long posts with lots of information there (including me ). They could not understand your pure feelings and take it as a challange (like me for the first 15 seconds I read that sentence)
They both developed and they both need further development. Because neither Harima nor Eri are willing to understand the person they love - Harima naver knew and still doesn't know what Tenma actually treasure - the example is how he destroyed her curry plate trying to deliver his manga in time for "Tenma's sake" - no need to menting that Tenma never cared about his manga. And Eri as well, doesn't undarstand Harima at all, or else it would be clear for her who he love. She can only see him as a strong but kind deliquent, who helped her many times, nothing more. I'm sure that she can't even think of possibility of Harima drawing manga. Both of them still need to grow up even more. Without it I can't see the manga ending. Or at least for me ending it leaving characters at their current level would be dissapointing.
... When we discuss about it so much, I start to think that SR plot moved almost nowhere - we are almost in the same place, like for example : Right after sport festival (Eri was prevailing, Yakumo started to advance, Tenma was clueless)
If SR is going to end - then KJ will need to think of something extra special (although I hope it will never end, for example a great meteorite will hit their school, and they all will need to repeat a year )
Actually yes. The changes taken place from that time were - Eri's feelings development (Harima still don't care), Harima's feelings development (Tenma still don't care). Something really revolutionary need to happen to break this circle. We need Harima to confess!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, agree with everyone here.
Kolox, thanks for the advertise, I will remember that observation, thanks
And, yep, I agree, something revolutionary must happen, I'm really anxious waiting for Harima to confess and see him being kicked, giving up Tenma and well, we all know "so life goes on". I would also hate to see the manga continuing like this for the eternity. And probably, yes, the end will not happen in less than about 60 chapters, as it was said before.
I really want to see Harima going for another life soon, to see the reactions of Eri and Yakumo when facing a depressed Harima, discovering about how to continue his life. And to see how de will start to be after that, not only with the girls who like him, but everyone.
Well, that's it. Happy New Year. Waiting for more arguments to continue
School Rumble rules! yay! XD
well, we know this story is going that way, but we still love it, dont we?? hehe..
there will be no progress for flag either onigiri, unless harima do something about his feeling about tenma..
i really like this chapter (206), it really describe actual development in the story, especially when tenma step on the harima doll head.. lol..
two girls love the boy, the boy loves her, and she doesn't know anything about it..
You know, this so funny.
when Harima tried to confess to Tenma, Eri & Yakumo started to love Harima.
wonder if they'll love him if he never love Tenma.
he-he, something must happen!
And if Harima still silent and and didn't tell anything to Tenma,
Flag or Onigiri will not advance.
(exception if Harima started to realize Eri or Yakumo's feeling about him)
Love change people - and this love changed Harima completely.
Eri and Yakumo felt in love with a 'changed Harima' and somehow despised the 'old Harima' (Yakumo reaction at him in the first chapters "Nee-san, don't you feel anxious sitting here" - and Harima burning up at the back of the strip, and I ii think I don't need to write about Eri thinking ).
So as simple as that, if Harima never loved Tenma - Onigiri and Flag would never happen (and If Harima hadn't loved Tenma so much he would jump in front of delivery car, Eri and Yakumo would never notice him either)
lets just face the fact that harima will fail miserably if he confess to tenma anyways... just like when tennouji tried to confess when she was reading the love poet (which harima secretly gave her)..what if harima was the one that confess? the whole plot wouldnt even develop further.. she'll say she has someone she likes anyways..
why is harima so thick headed? he knows that tenma likes karasuma.. but he still refuses to give up.. still im interested until where this is gonna end up.. flag or onigiri.. =3 though im hoping for onigiri ..
